UN Warns Disaster-Related Economic Losses Out of Control 
Panama, May 15 (Prensa Latina) The United Nations Organization warned the world business community today about disaster-related economic losses, which are out of control and increasing, and asked for their collaboration in avoiding them.
The U.N. representation in Panama distributed a communique that deals with the Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction issued by U.N. General Secretary, Ban Ki-moon, where he asks businesses to consider the subject as a key element in private-investment strategies.
