If you're following the "Here's Your Sign" thread you know that one of the false prophets I cover regularly is Steve Fletcher, the King of the Failed Rapture dates.
I found something on him that's interesting enough to warrant its own thread:
Steve Fletcher brags about receiving a $500,000 donation from a homeless drunk
Here false prophet Steve Fletcher tells a story about receiving a donation of a half million dollars recently from a homeless drunk who came into quick overnight. Will Fletcher tithe on this income? That seems very doubtful. He will be lucky if the IRS doesn't find out about it -- he's an American citizen living in Mexico, where a half million dollars goes a long way! Fletcher is already living in a large home with a multi-car garage and swimming pool, a rarity in his town of Dzan Yucatan where many live in small grass huts with dirt floors. Not to mention his 20-acre plot of fertile farm land and orchards, all donated by deceived Christians from the United States for his fraudulent ministry.
Are you in need of a donation to help out your own situation? Why not ask the Fletchers to share a little of their enormous windfall in order to bless you? Ask us for his email address. Ah, but here's the rub: In this video Fletcher, in true false prophet form, goes the other way -- Rather than offering to bless others, he actually has the audacity to ask his viewers for MORE MONEY for himself! Yes, believe it or not. That's real greed. Move over, Joel Osteen!

Visit Facebook page FALSE PROPHET STEVE FLETCHER EXPOSED for documentation and screenshots providing evidence of Fletcher's 100+ FAILED rapture date prophecies since December 2012. He claims to "receive" such revelations "from the Lord," but that is obviously not the case. Fletcher is a liar. He is not a prophet, though he has claimed to be. See other videos on this channel for proof he has called himself "a prophet of God, called and anointed."
From the comments:
What?!?!?! He claims to have started all those businesses, an orphanage and a juice shop and fruit stand and cafeteria, but when someone wants to give him a donation it must go through his daughter's "Everyday Checking" account? What?!
What's wrong with this picture? Is the tax man looking for deposits to his own account? In another video he asks for donations to go to his wife's account. He doesn't use his own name for any monetary transactions? Maybe he's laundering money for someone. Something smells a little fishy there in the Yucatan.

He's been hoping like crazy for five years for an escape via rapture but now that he's flush with cash he is hoping for more time? Lol lol lol.... Listen to this guy!

Huh why isn't this video on his YT channel? So his subscribers don't know about this? I would think he would post this on his channel to show all how blessed he is. Right? To receive this amount of money for a gift, donation, this does have to be reported to the IRS. IDC whose name it was given to. They are the responsible party to pay tax on it or file with the IRS. I have also noticed Steve Fletcher doesn't even have Paypal in his name. He mainly uses his wife's name. There is a reason he doesn't want to leave a financial trail. Not a good sign!! (At first I had the thought he might be a 501C3 tax-exempt "ministry," but if he wants donation checks made out to other family members there's definitely something fishy in Yucatan!)

Talk about deceived!
Steve is truly a great Man if God.
He has given his entire adult life to help all these children have some comfort.
I would give him twice that amount if I had it.
He is so giving..
All Blessings to His Family And Miniseries.

Why don't you find the love of God? Here are some facts Steve has shared about Obama... "[Barak] is he who comes in the name of the Lord." [Barak is how "blessed" is pronounced in Hebrew or Aramaic.] Obama rode into Jerusalem on Nisan 10, like Jesus, when they say this. The covenant with many happened at this time also. Google "brit amim" March 2013. In Hebrew, brit amim means alliance/covenant with many! Sacrifices were also halted (Google "Ban on Passover sacrifice" jpost, March 20 2013). And he stood in a holy place on March 22, 2013 and exactly 1260 days (3.5 years) earlier he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize that also contained in the text, in Norwegian: strengthen a covenant/alliance with many!

Update: This is now over 5 years old, and Steve F has clearly burned through most if not all of the plunder by now and is back to begging for more. He was disavowed by his siblings and by his home church in Minnesota who initially had sponsored him as a missionary in Mexico; They would have gladly helped him, but he insisted his "rapture now vision" was more important than the orphanage ministry. His 'vision' message includes a "command" for everyone else in the world to STOP their ministries and support ONLY his message of "rapture now", despite that rapture not having happened for nearly 12 years now.
He still makes almost daily prognostications based on hundreds of insane conspiracy theories, and not a single one of them has proved to be valid or led to the rapture.
He has used his support to buy vacations, cars, motorcycles, swimming pools, and private education for his biological children.
He has claimed "thus sayeth the Lord" about not just one but multiple absolute rapture deadlines, and has promised to quit multiple times if he was wrong about a rapture date. Unsurprisingly, he did not honor his word on any of these.
Anyone claiming he is a 'good man' or that he is actually hearing from God about any of this needs to seriously consider these things.
