Liberal Hollywood actress Eva Longoria has left “dystopian” America and moved to Spain and Mexico.
The 49-year-old “Desperate Housewives” star boasted in a new interview with Marie Claire that she is “privileged” enough to have the resources to move her family away from the United States.
Longoria said she is now splitting her time between Mexico and Spain.
The actress was born in Texas and has lived in America all her life.
However, she claims that she has suddenly decided to flee the country because of “homelessness” and “taxes.”
“I had my whole adult life here,” Longoria told the outlet of the United States.
“But even before [the pandemic], it was changing. The vibe was different.
“And then COVID happened, and it pushed it over the edge.
“Whether it’s the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to s*** on California — it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now.”
The Hollywood star mentioned her disdain for the election results, too.
“The shocking part is not that [Donald] Trump won,” she said.
“It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office.”
“If he keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place,” Longoria added.
While reflecting on Trump’s win in the 2016 election, the actress said, “I’ve never been depressed in my life.”
“It was like, ‘Does my vote really matter? Am I really making a difference?’” she told the outlet.
“I was so untethered to the core of what I believe because I truly believed in my soul that the best person wins.
“And then that happened, and I was like, ‘Oh, wait. The best person doesn’t win.’”
The actress had endorsed Kamala Harris for president this election cycle.
She also spoke at the Democratic National Convention.
The TV star campaigned for Democrats all summer, specifically focusing on women and Latino voters.
Longoria was just one of several celebrities linked to accused sex trafficker and pedophile Sean “Diddy” Combs to throw her support behind Harris.
Podcasters Joe Rogan and Elon Musk noted that most of the celebrities who have endorsed Harris and attacked Trump were closely linked to Diddy.
Meanwhile, TMZ founder Harvey Levin has revealed that the evidence emerging in the case against Diddy has triggered “panic” in Hollywood.
During a new interview on News Nation, Levin noted that celebrities are usually extremely vocal about certain issues, particularly regarding the election, as Slay News reported.
Several Diddy-linked VIP celebrities blasted Trump and warned the public that he’s a “threat to democracy.”
However, Levin highlights that high-profile figures in the media, entertainment industry, corporate America, and the political world have been “very silent” on the Diddy allegations.
Maybe some celebrities are more panicked than others.
“I get to escape and go somewhere,” Longoria said while explaining that she’s “privileged” to be able to leave the country.
“Most Americans aren’t so lucky.
“They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.”
The actress is currently living outside of the U.S. with her third husband, José Bastón, and their 6-year-old son Santiago.
Longoria said she travels to Europe and South America for work but does not plan to return to America.
