If any of you watched QVC years ago, they had a terrific host - Steve Bryant - who was a real hoot! He's a genuine person, very talented, and I used to love to watch him. I've been praying for him for years, and recently friended him on Facebook. Steve usually posts songs he's written, or satire, but I found this thread very, very interesting:
Steve Bryant
With everything going on the world these days, I have a very bad feeling about things. I'm usually a very positive (but sarcastic) person. But I have this gut feeling that something cataclysmically awful is about to happen. Do you have the same feeling?

Susan Abercrombie Yes, Steve, I do have that feeling. Either it's going to happen personally (to me) or globally, but there's an explosive restlessness, as if a huge societal boil were about to be lanced. Hard to describe.

Steve Bryant Thanks you, all!
Like you, Gabriel, it hit me hard just a few days ago. This is a very strange feeling, it's really difficult to describe. It's like I just walked into traffic on a crowded highway and I can't get out of the way. Most unusual.

Brenda Zerbe St Thomas I was just thinking the same thing. One of my dogs has been acting nuts the past three days, barking and running around like a maniac. I was just wondering if there is going to be an earthquake or something like that. I am in Maryland so if you see it on the news, Maddie the yorkie knew first.

Steve Bryant That's it, David! In fact, I was thinking if everyone who had the same feeling sent me all their money...well, maybe they'd feel better. I know I would.
(Family Radio offered a morning drive gig, but they would only sign a 17 week contract. Although I could keep all the money I would scam.)

Becky O'Donnell I have been very anxious for the last week...my heart rate is up, but I torture myself constantly with news. I'm like obsessive with having to watch the news, or listen if I'm in the car. And sadly, it's mostly bad news.

Steve Bryant Marion, it's not all doom and gloom. There are some great things happening in medicine and many other disciplines. No, this feeling isn't like that. Something big (and bad) is going to happen. But, with all the crappy things going on, life isn't certainly doom and gloom. Scary, yes!
And I don't think we're living out some Bible prophecy. It's just a very weird time. For crying out loud, NBC's Chuck is back for a 5th season! That, in and of itself, is a sure sign of the Apocalypse.

So, apart from the last libtard, it seems that many, many people are feeling a sense of impending doom - like something BIG is about to happen.
The purpose of this post is twofold:
1. I sent Steve a personal message not long before he posted this. He's been diagnosed with throat cancer, and is facing the loss of his career. Could it be that - coupled with the Holy Spirit - is working on him?
2. To be honest, the worse things get, the more joyful and anticipatory I feel - like something WONDERFUL is about to happen. Am I alone in this - or do the rest of you feel this way?
Anyway, please keep him in prayer - he's a special man; I've always felt that way.
