This is Moonshine. Moonie is a feral kitten who started to turn up at meal time when I called the other kids, although he wouldn't let me any closer than 10 feet away from him. Well, Moonie decided he wants to be a house cat, so he found his way in via a crawl space under the porch. As you can see, he's made himself quite at home!
I'm still not allowed to get too close, but we're down to maybe two feet. We have a system: when I feet the other kitties, Moonshine hops onto a dining room chair where he's covered by the tablecloth. Of course, since he can't see me, I can't see him either, right? I wonder if he thinks it's the Hand of God that appears from under the tablecloth and slips the bowl of food on the chair.... ;D

Here's Whisper and Cherish. Whisper turned up one day, emaciated, wormy, covered in poop, and with a tail that was badly matted because something had been tied around it. He's now well-fed and loved, and is never too far from me. He's a gentleman, and doesn't wake me until he sees I start to stir - then he comes over and snuggles up for "kitty love time."
Whisper adores kittens - when he gets a new kitten sister or brother, he takes it under his paw and loves to snuggle with it.
Awww Whispers is adorable!! All your kitties are adorable, POH. I love that picture of Whispers with his 'arm' around Cherish..what a sweetie-pie he is.
Thanks for sharing your family with us!

There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance. That principle is condemnation before investigation. ~ Edmund Spenser
I missed having cats. We had to get rid of my last cat because my son was severely allergic to her. That was heartbreaking to say the least.
Now I have three really sweet but stupid dogs. Totally different from cats, that's for sure.
