My internet is down after the huge storm we had last night. I was trying to see if an open Wi-Fi connection I can sometimes log onto was available, and went to the list. There, among neighbors' connections, was a listing: NSA Monitor 1.
So, the question is - is the NSA so blatant about their spying on people, or did someone name their connection that as a joke? When I had my internet installed, the technician was telling me about someone who named their account "Police Surveillance," and they got a visit from the FBI and had to change it.
Hmmm....
Anyway, I had to check a few things, so I'm at a hot spot...thank goodness for those!

Probably a joke. Some people do that to discourage others from tapping into their wifi.

It'll be interesting to keep an eye on; the cable guy told me that's illegal - it's considered impersonating a federal agency, police, or whatever.

Well hey you never know...  Your internet technician's story is very interesting.  Did you ask the technician how the FBI knew about that little piece of information in the first place? My son would do something like this as a joke, but the problem is ( and my son doesn't 'get' ) that our Government doesn't have any sense of humor anymore and it could end up with him (or me) in jail.  |

No, I didn't ask him how the FBI knew....but with them watching everything, I'm sure they were aware of it.
I'm keeping an eye on that connection to see how long it take for them to pull it down. Baydoll, PLEASE be careful; as long as you're the head of the household with your son living with you, YOU are the one who would be held responsible!

Oh, don't worry, he wouldn't actually do it, he's smarter than that. But he would love do something like this just to mess with them, if you get my drift. You'd be surprise how many young people are 'on to' the Government and their desire for the NWO. |
