:)Hello everyone, my name is Tamara (aka revtami) and I'm in awe of some of the wisdom and talent God has brought together here in this forum. As for me I'm 65 yrs old, retired/disabled and I'm married 40 years to the same wonderful man. We have no children so we have become a pair of those annoying "pet parents" that seem to bother so many people. Right now I'm "mommy" to a male miniature Dachshund named Oscar and a female Sheet Tsu named Precious. They are both rescue dogs and I just didn't have the heart to change their names, besides Precious is very aptly named. LOL My husband and I are both ordained ministers and our ministry, at least for now, is primarily on line. I did go to Bible College but it was only a 1 year certification program so I don't have an extended in depth education but I have read the Bible (more than once) and I believe I've learned all I really need to from that since it is God's inspired Word. I spend way too much time on the computer but I also love to read and now and then I even write an article or two as the Holy Spirit leads. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this forum and I hope to get to know everyone as time goes on. I ask God to bless this forum and each individual who joins, Lord place your Hand of protection over us all and give us your grace and peace as we build a gathering we hope will bring you glory and make you proud of your children. I ask this in the name of your Glorious Son Jesus the Christ, whom we all love and adore. Amen.  |

Welcome Tami! As far as being an "annoying pet parent," I personally find pets less annoying than most kids...or even grown-ups!   I have a sign in my kitchen that says, "Pets Welcome - Children Must Be On A Leash." The neighborhood kids who come over giggle over it every time! ;D |

Hello everyone! Thank you, POH for inviting me to this board - I am blessed to have enjoyed your posts on the Aloha Bible Prophecy FB page....(I am really missing Pator JD's updates!) I am so happy to have found such a well organized prophecy forum....this will certainly consolidate and enhance a lot of the research that I already do online regarding these End Times!  I am looking forward to learning more about the following topics..... What do you all think of the validity of Transhumanism? (aka H2) - what if the locusts with men's faces spoken of in the bible were actually, well....locusts with men's faces? Do you think that the recent alleged UFO sightings are demonic or photoshopped? (a bit of both, perhaps?) Since BO has the MSM on a perpetual news blackout, where do you get your best source of the news? (other than the Bible, LOL) What impact, if any, do you believe that the rapidly approaching deadline events will have on the expediency of the rapture? (ie the Isreali/Palestine treaty deadline, Feast of the Trumpets, UN recognizing Palestine as a state, the 1967 borders, etc?) Hi all, I'm Eva (eva5 around these parts) -- I have five grown children, and four grandchildren. One of my boys has CP, the other two are in the Army -- 82nd Airborne. One soldier just deployed to Afghanistan this month. One of my daughters lives nearby (with two of my grandchildren), and the other daughter lives and works on the Eastern Slope. I live in Western Colorado. I was married for the first time for 23 yrs., have since re-married. I work full-time and love to read, write, and spend time with my family. I have three cats that keep me company as well. Over the past couple of years, I have become fascinated with the topic of the Rapture, which has spurred me into reading & studying my Bible like never before. Of course, this has made me walk closer with the Lord -- you can't read your Bible and study it daily and NOT grow in your Christian walk. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you -- Matt. 6: 33 -- has been proven true in my own life. I've been born-again since I was 7, and still learn much with every day that passes. I am completely amazed at the time in which we live, that God's Word can be so startlingly evident to some (thanks to the Holy Spirit's discernment), and yet so many are still completely blind to what is happening right before their eyes. So glad to be living by faith, not by sight!! I believe the Rapture is imminent, but of course we are to occupy and do what God would have us do while we wait. It is indeed my Blessed Hope. My favorite pastor, JD Farag -- ok, neck & neck with Mike Hoggard -- says we should "get to know the other people who are going to make the trip" too. I can't wait to meet my online Christian friends when we all get to Heaven. What a day of REJOICING that will be!! First and foremost, we'll see Jesus. But we'll also have a chance to get acquainted with each other face to face!! |

Hi,I'm Tiara and I'm mom to 2 college students (who currently went off to the beach this weekend).I live in the south and have been married for 27 years this year.
I have a degree in nursing and I love reading,bible prophecy,cooking (I collect cookbooks as well :-) ) and I have 4 cats who keep me busy!
I look fwd to getting to know all of you.

Hello! Way to go Prisoner of Hope!!! I love it. Its about time I found a forum that held firmly to Christian beliefs and Love. I know you (and me too to some degree) have been burned in the past by mods who didn't know how to die to the flesh and let the Spirit lead them in their actions. Well, now I can be assured that "the Moderator" is staunch and stalwart in her foundational beliefs in our Lord, The Word, and all that is Associated. Thank youj so much for staying strong, and may God richly bless this board and all who participate. And in the words of a well known Believer..... "Even so, Come Quickly Lord Jesus!"

thank you northernlight... don't know if you have heard the latest teachings on Hebrews from Aaron but goodness! i have never heard anything like it...TRULY inspired teaching...full of the spirit of truth..of our kinsman redeemer.. love in him to you.... I haven't heard them yet, although I got an e-mail link. I seem to be living the parable of the seeds, where the word is sown and the birds immediately try to eat it, because even though I understand it, someone else comes along with the same old stuff and I doubt whether I've heard correctly. Hi I'm Morgan. I'm just getting started on my path of learning about Jesus. I always considered myself Christian growing up, but I don't think I ever really "got it". I went waaaaaaaay off the path for a while in my let twenties. I am now 33 and desperately seek closeness with Christ. I am not well. I may be suffering from cancer. I believe that my Lord will deliver me from this affliction. I want to learn more about the Bible. That's why I'm here |
