Call me suspicious, but with all the anti-Christian sentiment we see all over the place, all of a sudden Facebook has a new game called "Holy Town." Why?
I haven't been able to find out anything about it - not without giving the app permission to access my info, which I won't do - but I've seen some of the posts that it puts on friends' boards - thus far it's been either "Betty sent you a scripture in Holy Town! Click here to visit Betty's church in HolyTown" or "Betty complete (sic) their very first Preaching Sermon in Holy Town, you should join them!"
If I want to read Bible verses, I'll pick up my Bible - which isn't NIV, as this app uses - and I find the idea of a "game" that's all about preaching sermons and visiting churches (be honest - does it sound like a fun game to you?) rather mocking. I've very uncomfortable with the whole thing.
Do any of you have any thoughts on this? Are they trying to single out the Christians, or what?

My guess is they will use the list of people who use this app to decide who they round up and throw in a FEMA camp.

I was talking to a friend about this earlier; remember, Jesus said it would be "like the days of Noah" - business as usual - until the door of the ark was closed. I don't think the Christians will be rounded up until after the rapture, which must be close - it wouldn't take much to put an end to "business as usual" at this point; in fact, I think it's the hand of God holding off things like worldwide economic collapse until we leave. Actually, Christians in other countries are being persecuted, but for the "Westernized" countries, heck, some give them some stupid new fad like "holy laughter" or "soaking prayer" and they're in....most American "Christians" are already apostate and/or totally spoiled. One day on another board I saw a thread title that read, "I'm being persecuted for my faith!" Intrigued, I went to see what was happening to the woman. So get this: She has a picture of "Jesus" on the spare tire cover on the back of her SUV. She was at a shopping center, and backed up, hitting a shopping cart, which she knows wasn't there when she got into the vehicle. Conclusion? Someone saw the "Jesus" picture, didn't like the fact that she was a Christian, and put the cart there on purpose so she'd hit it. Wonder what she's do if she lived in, say, North Korea?
