Hi everybody! Welcome to Harpazo, where you can enjoy a sneak preview of the fellowship we'll have forever in heaven. This is a place for friends to discuss Bible prophecy, end-times events, talk about our Yeshua and all He's done for us, share jokes and stories, pray for each other, and just have fun.

Although I personally - after almost 20 years of study - am firmly pre-trib in my beliefs, you're welcome to join us regardless of your stand on the timing of the rapture; however, that one issue is not open to debate here...but all other escatological topics are.

I know some of you have been burned by power-mad mods on other "Christian" boards; I aim to be reasonable and not let being the admin of the board go to my head.

The rules of the board are simple:

1. I have no doubt the rapture is pre-trib. You're free to believe what you want, but since this is my board  if your beliefs differ, don't try to convince anyone that you're right and pre-tribbers are wrong. In return, we promise not to say "Told you so!" on the way up.

2. Obviously, no rudeness, profanity, or ad hominem attacks.

3. Although you're free (and encouraged) to expose and discuss false doctrine, false teachers & prophets, and cults, no promotion of false or questionable doctrine or any "out there" theories will be tolerated. This includes stuff like "I had a dream/vision from God!", "I put out a fleece and God confirmed when the rapture will be!", "Jesus appeared in person to my sainted little darling and gave her a message!" and "I multiplied the number of street lights in Jerusalem by the length of my pet goldfish, divided that by the weight I'd like to be, added the number of teeth I have left, subtracted the year of birth of (the person currently in the headlines), and came up with the number of days remaining until the rapture!" In other words, don't post anything that will make us look like a bunch of nuts.

4. No date setting will be tolerated; Jesus said we should recognize the season, but He also said NO MAN would know the day or the hour. Don't make Him out to be a liar by trying to prove what He said is wrong.

5. Please give a source for quotes and articles.

6. Posting in all caps is prohibited; that includes using all caps in titles.

7. Membership is for Believers and those who are interested in learning the truth, although anyone is free to read. If you're a member here and have a like-minded friend whom you know and trust who would enjoy the fellowship, please invite them to join us.

8. Keep looking up - Jesus is coming for us soon, and it could be today!

Sadly, it's not far from the truth! A few gems I saw today elsewhere (names not given to protect the silly):

"For the next 17 days America will still be 234 years old. If the $2.34 Mr. X received in his change refers to America's age at the rapture we are almost out of time."

Gotta love this one...

"God has used 'license plates' to speak to me in times when I REALLY needed some support. This morning I left the building department of the city of X about 12 noon. As I pulled out from the street parking into a major street I noticed that the license plate of the car parked beside mine started with 766 ___ and I thought that it meat the Tribulations on July. As I pulled further into the street I saw that the car next to that one started with 888 ___ which is the Greek gematria of Jesus.

This was to confirm the previous plate. As I drove towards my office, four miles away I saw another car with the license plate 766 ___ and beside it there was a car with 077 ___ which is the number I use to communicate with Jesus though license plates. The last stretch of my trip is through a small length of highway that today was free of cars till one sped by me having the plate 766 IIR and it was beside me till I left the highway one block away from my office.

The number 66 has always brought to my mind the Tribulations as this number is the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelations.

That I saw three plates with the same beginning in such a short trip with the 888 beside the first one is to me a very strong message that I believe came from Jesus pointing to the month of July as he start of the Tribulations. The Rapture should come before."

They walk among us! ;D

Hello, my name is Stacy and I was invited to come here from a facebook group. I am disabled from a car accident, for the most part bedridden now but praise God that I have the time to search scripture and learn all that I can. I was raised a Jehovah Witness..I have quite a few testimonies that i will share later. I was very much alone at age 22 when I walked away from this cult, however I learned so much by being on the inside. I lost my mom, dad, siblings etc. So I started anew with friendships along the way. I was really struggling with my beliefs that I was taught but I just couldn`t make myself go back. I was saved in 1986 when I was getting a tire put on my car The owner of the shop saw that I had a very sad countenance, he came over witnessed to me for several hours about the true faith of Jesus and we prayed right then and there! It was all up hill from there!

I just wanted to update the rules a little bit...and they're still very simple.  We probably have fewer rules than most boards, but the ones we do have are there for good reason.

In addition to those in the first post of this thread are the following:

Someone asked me about avatar pictures.  Well, pretty much anything goes that you wouldn't be embarrassed to show Jesus (and yes, He can see it!) - just use common sense and remember this is a Christian board.  Photos of yourself are great - we can all see what you look like (or you can post them in the Fellowship Forum if you like); we'd love to see pictures of your pets too.  The only prohibited "religious" pictures are those that portray Jesus - we don't know what He looks like, and they border on graven images.  Crosses are OK, but no go on Catholic type crucifixes that show a dead guy on a stick - our Jesus is ALIVE!!!    There's also a selection of board avatars that you can choose from, and the forum also has a create-an-avatar feature whereby you can make a cartoon avatar that (sorta) looks like you.  (These can be accessed from the profile tab.)

The admins ask that you please refrain from putting thread titles in all caps. We're not being picky, but it's for good reason: the old board format featured various icons that you could use to call attention to a particularly important story, such as an exclamation point and a few others.  Although the new format is better in many ways, there's no way to call attention to a super-important topic, so all caps is reserved for that.  We're talking SUPER important: Construction has started on the Third Temple; WW III has begun; two old dudes in robes and beards are witnessing in Jerusalem, tens of millions of people are missing worldwide (oops - hope you're not here for that one ), etc.  Only admins can put a thread title in all caps, but should we see a story that we feel warrants special attention, we'll put it in all caps and/or sticky the thread. Should a story be missed by us that's really hot (and we've been really busy and didn't see it), just send a reminder PM to admin and ask for review.  The idea is that some people can only stop by for a little while, and we want to have a way to make the really, really important stuff stand out so they don't miss it.
