This is something I normally do every Halloween, hand out tracts ( along with candy, of course ) which I get from LivingWaters.com (the tracts, that is). Here are some ideas for anyone out there interested: Halloween Ideas from Facebook Friends•"My next door neighbor goes all out for Halloween and he draws in about 200-300 kids in a two-hour period. He always wants us to help him with decorating and crowd control. I told him only if I can give out my tracts. So we have a deal!!!!" - Kim B. •"I remember as a little girl trick or treating and the other children telling me not to go to a particular house because they were not giving out candy. They said it was because they were Christians. I thought, 'Wow, Christians must be mean people.' I give out a candy and a tract, and I pray over the tracts before the first knock on the door." - Missy D. •"Take your kids around the neighborhood and give away evangelistic DVDs to parents. This is a great way to reach your neighbors with the gospel." You can buy their tracts here: send.livingwaters.com/display.php?M=111730&C=fadcfe6a17973b85e10ec0c7b8e79b65&S=331&L=6&N=182Also Chick Publications Tracts are excellent tracts to hand out too: www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0032/0032_01.aspI really try to go all out with this. I make up a halloween goodie bag with little toys, the best candy and tracts (age appropriate, of course). I also add tracts in the bags for the moms and dads as well.

I love Chick tracts and pretty much use them exclusively, even though they're expensive. In all the years I've lived in TN I've never had a single trick or treater come to my home, which is fine with me- - I hate Helloween. BTW, you know why Jehova's Witnesses don't observer Halloween? . . . . . . . They don't want a bunch of strangers knocking on their door!

No, they're in their houses HIDING from trick or treaters...hmmm kinda like most people do when THEY come knocking at OUR doors the rest of the time! I hate Halloween too but I figure I might as well try to insert some 'good' into an evil holiday! It's not every day I get a bunch of kids knocking on my door I get to hand tracts to!
