So then, what's HAARP stand for? Horrible American Association of Retired People? Is the the old folks who are causing all these floods and things? Is it because they're flushing the toilets too much? ;D A couple of years ago I went to a weekend-long retreat that my middle-aged singles group from church was having at a church camp. Never having gone to camp as a child (my mother could easily afford it, but wouldn't spend the money), I was really enjoying the experience - roughing it a bit, bunk beds, etc. It was even better late one night when I noticed someone in the upper bunk across from me was reading under the covers with a flashlight - this was everything that I had missed out on! In a loud whisper I asked what she was reading, expecting - I dunno - maybe a comic book, or a Nancy Drew mystery. She happily replied, "AARP magazine!" It ruined the entire effect.  |

I just thought it was funny. I was thinking about your welcome page "signs" and when I saw that it made me laugh. Reading AARP mag under the covers with a flashlight? It must be a really good one.  I don't get it yet but I got a wheelchair ad in the mail the other day, so could be coming any time now. |
