Ok guy's, what are your hobbies? What do you like to do outside of church and the bible?
My main hobbie is playing guitar. I'd say I'm above average but have friends that say I'm very good. I have to get new friends because they're not being honest or they don't get out much. I've had several guitars and amps over the years but have settled on a Paul Reed Smith SC250 and a Mesa Boogie Rectoverb 25.
I helped start a church years ago called "Rock Church" and yes, we did rock "worship". The church was was a mix of Word of Faith/Rick Warren/Steven Furtick model. Since then I've learned, by the grace of God the falsehood of that teaching.
I' haven't played much since then, which has been about 5 or 6 years, but would like to play for worship in the new church we've been attending for a few months now.
My new hobbie has been shooting guns. I've shot guns pretty much all my life but have taken a new interest since about 5 years ago.
My daughter is getting antsy so I'll have to leave it at that.

I used to play guitar years ago, back in the days when music was still music... I was self-taught, but wasn't too terribly bad. These days I play a little golf, read good mystery novels, and just putter around the house. When we get "home" I'll get back to my music - I suspect our talents will be somewhat enhanced then!

I've only been golfing about three times in my life. It's just not loud enough for me I guess. Lol! My next door neighbor goes everyday unless it's raining or the course is cover with snow, obviously. He cuts his grass a lot too. But if I was retired I'd do the same.

A question like, "what are your hobbies" can seem almost juvenile in a place like "The Man Cave" but there truly are a couple of good reasons for my post. #1 I lost my dad last year. When I needed to fix something around the house, take care of my lawn/landscape or fix my car he was the one I turned to for advise. Since his passing I've not had anyone to go to for advise. Connecting with a few men here that I could get advise from time to time might just fill part of that void in my life. Knowing what interests/hobbies some men on this forum have would give me an idea who to go to. #2 Ok, I dont have another reason other than cheap conversation.
