False Converts & Eternal Security Author: Christopher J. E. Johnson Published: Sept 20, 2014 Updated: Mar 6, 2015
Can a Christian lose his/her salvation? The reason this question is asked so much is because of the confusion that's been created from the new-age leavened church buildings and false teachers out there. The incredible amounts of leaven have brought in all sorts of false doctrines from people who cherry-pick verses of Scripture, taking them out of their context, and then creating a false doctrine that contradicts the rest of Scripture. I will not only do my best to go over the Scripture on this issue, and answer the question thoroughly, but also answer Scriptural arguments that are coming from these false teachers spreading confusion.
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. -1 Corinthians 14:33 There are a surprising number of Christians out there teaching a false doctrine that you must maintain a certain amount of works, or you will lose your salvation. This is a new-age concept that is being accepted by many leavened church buildings, since many of them are still under the bondage of the law, and to fully understand what I mean by that, we need to go back and review Christ's parable of the sower.
