Do you have an uplifting/encouraging quote, Bible verse, stories that has spoken to you in some way? A friend of mine recently sent me this quote in my email and it was just the thing I needed to see at that time.
Here is that quote and my quote for the day: (Author unknown)
Don't let the foolish negative actions of others consume your life - stay focused!
Philippians 3:20-21 “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”

As you've probably figured out by now, I really, really, REALLY love animals. I so long for the day when I'm not only reunited with my pets who have gone to heaven, but it means so much to me that ALL the animals are there, especially since they so often get a raw deal in this life. I'm convinced they were created to be loved and cherished, and I also believe we were originally supposed to be able to communicate with them, and we will in the Kingdom. (OK, not deep philosophical discussions, but....)
Anyway, sometimes I wondered if the Lord REALLY understood how I feel about my furkids. Then I came across this Scripture, and I knew He does:
"But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter." 2 Sam. 12:3
Be thou comforted, little dog, Thou too in Resurrection shall have a little golden tail. ~ Martin Luther
My daughter and I were discussing this very thing last night! We are worried about our boxer. He hasn't been acting right the past week (can't eat, throwing up blood). He's 12 years old and we're afraid he might be dying. This will be a very sad household when that happens. (My daughter and her husband and their 4 kids live with me). I told her I truly believe our pets will be waiting for us in Heaven.
Genesis 9:12-16
12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

I believe all the animals will be there, not just the pets...anything less would be less than perfectly just...as Puppy has said, so many of these precious babies have gotten such a raw deal in this life.
I have a Thomas Kincaid picture with the following Scripture:
Psalm 145:13 ~ The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.
All means ALL! Even the little mouse, the tiny ladybug, the precious butterfly....
