What is a typical red-blooded American who is concerned about distant, largely unaccountable bureaucrats destroying their quality of life by polluting their community with unassimilated third-world peasants do to find out what the federal government has in store? The unpleasant reality is there is not much that can be done. Our imperial government is no longer accountable to the people.
WND reports that there is presently a flow of approximately 100,000 Muslims per year, most from countries with a demonstrated terrorist presence or threat. There are 190 communities in America that have been selected with no local community input or involvement, as dumping grounds for imported foreigners of every conceivable description. Those Americans who live in the areas in which the dumping is taking place, including their elected representatives, have found themselves powerless to do anything to prevent it or to even get any information.
The author of the Refugee Resettlement Watch blog, Ann Corcoran, spoke at a March 16th security summit in Columbia, South Carolina which was hosted by Frank Gaffney. She addressed concerns over an office being opened in Spartanburg by the group World Relief, a federal government “resettlement” contractor with ties to the globalization scheme within the United Nations. An opening of an office by World Relief is an iron-clad indicator that third-worlders are on their way.
At the conference Corcoran met with some activists opposed to the importation and cultural dilution scheme of the UN and Obama regime who told her, “It is like pulling teeth to get any information,” Corcoran said. “And these are long-term grassroots activists who know how to get information.”
Even Rep Trey Gowdy, who chairs the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Refugees, is unable to get information about the regime’s plans to dump Muslims and others of unknown intent and origin into his own district. “He is chair of this committee, and so they want to set up a refugee office in his home district, and we still can’t get any information,” Corcoran said.
Similar problems and stonewalling is being experienced across the nation, including in Athens, GA, where the Mayor has been ignored by the State Department and St. Cloud, MN, already a dumping ground for Somalis, which is experiencing some social unrest as a result.
According to WND, an article published in the March 8th edition of the Spartanburg Herald-Journal described a supposed invitation being sent to the contractor World Relief to open a foreigner importation office in Spartanburg. It was supposedly issued by “a partnership of faith leaders” called Come Closer Spartanburg issued an invitation more than a year ago to World Relief to open a refugee office in their city.”
No public hearings were conducted and no information was provided as to the makeup of this supposed faith leaders partnership. Issues that carry the negative impact on local communities of this cultural pollution should not be conducted in secret, and many would argue they should not be conducted at all. Regardless of the demonstrated lack of transparency by the Obama regime in its program of fundamental transformation of America, the public was not notified, was not given an opportunity to object to the action and is slated to have 65 potential terrorists dropped into their community from Congo, Bhutan and Syria beginning anytime now.
That supposed community faith group said on the “Come Closer Spartanburg” website that Spartanburg is the “home to what has been identified as the fifth most dangerous neighborhood in the United States. We have extremely high rates of unemployment, poverty and domestic violence. Overall, we were recently listed as the fourth most ‘miserable’ city to live in our country. It does not take long to realize that we are a city in need of transformation.” Could that be fundamental transformation, perhaps? Isn’t that the sort of radical social engineering that the affected community should have involvement in?
Christina Jeffrey, a political science professor and former U.S. House of Representatives historian who ran against Trey Gowdy, in last year’s Republican primary, described the effort as planting a seed community which then grows into a non-assimilated, “integrated” group. In plain English, they don’t become Americans, they just live in America but continue to identify with their homeland and bring with them its customs and problems. She notes that it is a similar tactic which has been employed in the degradation of Europe for decades.
Jeffrey wrote, “Looking at other U.S. cities with new refugee communities, it appears that contractors often keep sending refugees to the same place until there is a community within a community. Unassimilated communities have created problems in Europe, and we are beginning to have similar problems here in the United States (witness Milwaukee, Wis., and Lewiston, Maine).”
Corcoran points out that the word “assimilation” has been abandoned for the new approach of integration, in which a multitude of diverse cultures live side by side in “coexistence” without ever assimilating into Americans. Not only do they not assimilate, but no adequate vetting is done nor is it even possible in many instances, so terrorists and terrorist sympathizers are undoubtedly present in the imports.
Corcoran detailed the dishonest nature of World Relief, that they not only withhold information but flat-out lie about what is taking place. She said they claim the refugees will be Christians, which she described as “BS.” She said the truth is but the truth is that “Ninety percent of the Syrians coming into the country right now are Muslim. That is just not so; they don’t get to pick like that. They’re going to get the whole mix (as assigned by the United Nations), and they’re probably going to get Somalis, too.
That raises another important question that has not been answered. Why is the United Nations determining the composition of the United States? That is possibly the most alarming aspect of all associated with this violation of American freedom, American rights and American sovereignty being thrust upon the people of America against their will by a dictatorial and unaccountable hijacked central government.
