The bond between a cat and its human often goes beyond logic. No one can truly understand the love shared by man and beast unless they are a part of their special friendship. What's equally hard to understand is when a cat's owner does some outlandish and crazy things for their lovable pet.
This cat-loving soldier risked his life and disobeyed direct orders to save a cat while fighting in a war zone. Sure, he went against his command, but he doesn't regret a thing in the end.
These two really saved each other. Who knows where they'd be without one another? What we do know is that they are both better off together, safe and sound.
