OMG! VS. God's Blasphemy Law

Most who know the third Commandment of God think of it as "do not blasphemy". Meaning to them, do not use God's name as if a swear word, and / or mixing the name of God with other profane words. The worst form of blasphemy is to use the sacred, Holy name of Jesus Christ in this manner. It far exceeds using simply the name title "God" as blasphemy, because "Jesus Christ" is the name of God. But the fact is, God's third Commandment is actually much more sensitive and strict than what most understand, and many (even many who call themselves Christian) are breaking it daily...
"Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain." (Exodus 20:7 King James Version).
The word used by God is "vain". We are COMMANDED by God not to use his name in "vain". The word "vain" is defined as "devoid of real value, idle, unprofitable - without real significance, value or importance..."
Ever heard someone tell another something, and they reply "Oh My God"? In fact, this has become such a popular response to almost anything what-so-ever, that it's a fad to say this, and to use the abbreviation "OMG!". Let's put this into perspective. How many times when someone says this response, are they actually praying and taking something to God, praying from their heart something like: "Oh my God, please deal with this for us"? How many times when they say this, do they actually mean a significant message about the Lord God intervening? How many times are they talking to God about something, when they say "Oh My God"? On the contrary, how many times are they using this statement as simply a response that is "without real significance", "devoid of real value", "idle", etc...? Meaning: how many times are they using the name of God IN VAIN?
