Warning of Gog-Magog War?

Gog Magog War

The Prophet Ezekiel predicted 2,600 years ago that a person named Gog in the land of Magog, who is also known as the Prince of Rosh, Meshech will lead an army of many nations including Persia from the far north in an attack against Israel which is commonly referred to as the Gog Magog War.

Ezekiel 38:1-5 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops, many people are with you.

Ezekiel’s words describing Gog as “prince of Meshek” Rosh Meshek in Hebrew, sounds suspiciously like Russia and Moscow. Persia is the modern day nation of Iran.

Ezekiel 38:14-17 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? Then you will come russian meteoritefrom your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, a great company and a mighty army. You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me,

Ezekiel is clear that the nations from the far north would attack Israel in the LATTER DAYS when Israel is DWELLING IN SAFETY. This was not possible until 1948 when Israel became a nation again for the first time in 2,000 years.

Ezekiel 38:18-23 “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”

Ezekiel 39:6 I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel predicts that God will supernaturally defend Israel by sending atmospheric missiles from the sky to destroy the enemies of Israel. The Israel Defense Forces will not need to fight this battle nor will the IDF need to rely on help from the United States which has already turned its back on Israel by allowing Russia to supply Iran with nuclear weapons. God will destroy the enemies of the far north himself.

The Bible records two previous incidents when God sent hailstones, fire and brimestone from heaven to judge evil doers and defend Israel by destroying her enemies.

Genesis 19:24 -25 Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

Joshua 10:11 And it happened, as they fled before Israel and were on the descent of Beth Horon, that the Lord cast down large hailstones from heaven on them as far as Azekah, and they died. There were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel killed with the sword.

It is highly possible the 2013 Russian Meteorite Impact was a divine warning of the coming Ezekiel 38-39 Gog Magog War.
