You'll Fall In Love With This Sweet Little Owl And His Beloved Mushrooms

I want one...right now. No, I want five.

If you use the internet more than once a month and don't live under a rock, you've probably already seen this adorable gem of a picture.



His name is Poldi, and his owner, German photographer Tanja Brandt, has plenty more pictures of him.



In fact, she has a treasure trove of them.



Because how could you not want to constantly capture the unbearable cuteness that is this itty bitty little guy?



Brandt explains Poldi's small size to Bored Panda. “Poldi, our little owl is 1.5 years old. I got him when he was five months old. He didn’t want to come out his egg and he was very small, the smallest. His six sisters were all hatched, and as he was the last to be born, days after the others, he was very small."

Brandt also has a beautiful German Shepherd, who's become best friends with little Poldi.



Not only is he adorable, he's also incredibly photogenic.



And he's perfectly compliant when Brandt is setting up her shots.



Oh, and he's even got a bit of a photographer's eye himself.



So long as mushrooms as exist, Poldi will be hiding under them, rain or not apparently.



And Brandt, a true animal lover, will continue capturing her and her animals' adventures in the most charming of ways.
