Well, isn't that interesting...a woman has been named a more powerful man than Obama. Then again...

Barack Obama fell this year in the Forbes’ rankings of the “World’s Most Powerful People,” and it was one of his rivals as a world leader who kept the top spot.
Russian President Vladimir Putin held No. 1 for the third year in a row.
This year, Putin challenged Obama directly over Syria by conducting an extensive air campaign on behalf of embattled Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Obama has publicly expressed his desire to see Assad removed from office and has funneled arms to rebels opposing his government.
Obama also made a “red line” threat to Assad three years ago in which he said that dire consequences would come to the Assad regime if chemical weapon usage didn’t stop. This year, reports have emerged stating that Assad still uses chemical weapons in his country.
Putin is an ex-KGB agent who was first elected president of Russia in 2000. He held the office until 2008, when he had to legally retire from the office. In 2012, he was eligible for the presidency of the country under Russian law and was elected to the office again.
Putin has a strong interest in sports, especially the martial arts. He holds “master of sports” titles in the martial arts of judo and sambo, as well as a black belt in karate. According to a Russian official government website, other activities he engages in include skiing, hockey, fishing and whitewater rafting.
Putin isn’t the only person to beat out Obama, who took third on the Forbes list.
At second place, Germany’s chancellor Angela Merkel is also considered more powerful than the American president.
