Model quits lingerie modeling career because of faith

When Kylie Bisutti won the Victoria’s Secret Model Search in 2009, she was elated. Considering her initial excitement, some may be scratching their heads to hear that the model, now 21, has decided to turn her back on the profession that once brought her such immense fulfillment. She’s citing her Christian beliefs as the reason for her departure.

“Victoria’s Secret was my absolutely biggest goal in life, and it was all I ever wanted career-wise,” she explained. “But the more I was modeling lingerie, and lingerie isn’t clothing, I just started becoming more uncomfortable with it because of my faith.”

Don't know if this is the place for it, but I think it's pretty cool how she stood up for what she believes in, was obedient to God instead of going after the "worldly" success.

I agree. Good for her! It takes a lot of courage to stand up for Christ in this day and age especially in the media... she's a true hero in my eyes.

As usual, she'll get flack from the media. A few here in Australia have already said that it's probably just a media stunt, and why, if she wants to be a good role model, is she still even in the modelling industry..

Probably, that's pretty much a given. The Satantically-driven media will most likely be brutal to her. Look what they did to Carrie Prejean.
