Just a week ago, we shared a report that ISIS has recruited experts with chemistry, physics and computer science degrees to wage war with weapons of mass destruction against the West.
Wolfgang Rudischhauser, Director of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Non-Proliferation Centre at NATO said: ‘ISIS actually has already acquired the knowledge, and in some cases the human expertise, that would allow it to use Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear materials as weapons of terror.’
Well, apparently they may also have the actual materials.
The Daily Mail reports, “Two people of Syrian origin had been arrested in Geneva on suspicion of transporting ‘explosives and toxic gases’ as part of a probe into a terror threat.
The two suspects are accused of the ‘manufacture, concealment and transport of explosives and toxic gases’, the federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
They are also under suspicion of violating Swiss law prohibiting ‘groups like Al-Qaeda, Islamic State and similar organizations’, it added.
Both men were arrested yesterday on the road outside Cologny, a municipality in the canton of Geneva with police confirming they found traces of explosives inside the car.
The western city has remained on high alert due to an increased jihadist threat in Switzerland, with added security personnel making careful chats on vehicles.”
But remember, ISIS is “contained” and anyway, climate change is our biggest threat. Gosh, I guess holding that climate conference didn’t deliver quite the “rebuke” Obama was hoping for.
Excuse me while I take a moment to pull the hair out of my head.
