Escaped ISIS prisoner delivers HARSH TRUTH about Obama strategy
Written by The Analytical Economist on January 2, 2016
We are at war with ISIS, though Obama is reluctant to put boots on the ground. Our involvement has been entirely through airstrikes – 75% of which Obama blocks.
Obama tells us we’re going to ultimately degrade and destroy ISIS, but refusing to actually send in troops seems to convey the message “we’ll fight ISIS, but we’re going to completely half-ass it.”
One former ISIS prisoner is speaking out against the Obama administration’s handling of ISIS – Iraq Master Sergeant Karam Saad.
Saad was captured by ISIS in June of 2014 and subsequently subject to torture. After just three days in captivity he made his escape.
“I stole a spoon and turned it into a knife, with the intention to kill one of the guards. I asked him to take me to the bathroom” he stated.
“But as I was making my way there, I noticed another guard who had been left behind was armed with a gun, so killing was out of the question. I went to the bathroom and managed to knock out the ISIS fighter and put him a rear-naked choke. Then I made it onto the roofs, and escaped.”
When it comes to Obama’s strategy on ISIS, he had some harsh words, as quoted by IJ Review:
“The airstrikes are not effective and there are really no functional operations. The coalition is bullsh**! They might get a couple good shots here or there, but for the most part it’s not an effective strategy.
In the future, I feel that the Republicans will be more effective to battle ISIS than the Democrats will. Since 1991, the Republicans have been better allies than Democrats. The Democrats have a stupid strategy. I had spent a long time on the battlefield with the Republicans politics and we’ve had way more victories in the fight.
Under the Obama administration, America is not taking this fight seriously.”
He didn’t provide an endorsement of any particular candidate, but I can’t imagine he would think negatively of Trump’s plan to “bomb the s—“ out of ISIS and “take their oil.”
