for which they'll sell their souls? I told a friend about the mandatory RFID chip that's part of the Obamacare bill. She's a Christian - very active in her church - her husband is a worship leader. This is what she replied: "As long as they give me a tummy tuck, a boob lift , buttocks tuck, arm flaps removed, botox, personal trainer, food vouchers for organic food, steady supplement to my income since (her husband) CAN'T have an implant due to his pacemaker and two new cars with a home improvement package....I'm good with this. I figure since they want TOTAL control, they're going to get it but ON MY TERMS. I get in return, you know what I'm saying..." What do you think? Does everyone have a price for which they'll sell their soul? Is that why Jesus gave the qualifier "if possible" in Matt. 24:24? Is that part of the reason for the rapture - to save people from themselves? (...if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.) Every day Christians in Third World countries are laying down their lives for the Gospel, but let's be honest - most American Christians are spiritually fat, dumb, and lazy. Your thoughts?

What gets me is, when we get our new bodies they're be far better than the best plastic surgeon in the world can make them...and they'll never get old or fat. Yet she'll settle for some nips and tucks?
One could have trillions of dollars...but it's still finite; even if someone were to live for thousands of years, at some point the money would be gone.
And as for stuff, as long as we're still in a fallen world, stuff can be stolen or break down or decay. Her cars that she wants will eventually have problems, and the home improvements will only last for a time.
No thanks....I'm not settling for anything less than perfection! ;D I guess I'm hard-wired to think BIG - most people aren't.

That woman has no idea... Not even a hint as to what is about to transpire. They won't be interested in her terms. It'll be a simple choice. Accept the implant and deny Christ or you'll be beheaded. Given her view she had better be praying day and night to be raptured before any of the current persecution of Christians reaches these shores...

For myself the only chips going in me will be chocolate, tortilla or potato. I'm not the least bit concerned as to what such a stand might cost me either.

Nope. I agree with Shann0. Everything I want and long for is in Heaven.
