What liberal progressives just did to conservatives should make you VERY AFRAID

Folks, this story is most disturbing, and I want y’all to take the time to read this and understand the ramifications.

There can no longer be any debate: the progressive socialist left is fascist. There is no longer a Democrat Party; it’s now truly a socialist gang seeking to shut down not just freedom of speech, but also freedom of academic conscience and thought.

As reported by the Washington Free Beacon, “The attorney general of the U.S. Virgin Islands is targeting dozens of conservative and libertarian organizations in a racketeering lawsuit against climate change skeptics that has been widely described as an effort to silence political opponents.

In a subpoena issued in March, the office of USVI attorney general Claude Walker demanded from Exxon Mobil copies of communications between the oil company and 90 different political and policy organizations “and any other organizations engaged in research or advocacy concerning Climate Change or policies.”

The subpoena was part of a national, coordinated legal campaign by state attorneys general and left-wing advocacy groups to use the legal system against companies and organizations that disagree with and advocate against Democratic policies to address global climate change.

The existence of the subpoena was first reported by the Wall Street Journal in April. A newly released copy obtained by the Washington Free Beacon reveals the names of the organizations targeted in the effort, which had previously been redacted.

Those organizations include some of the nation’s preeminent conservative and libertarian nonprofit groups. The AG is requesting Exxon Mobil communications with the Heritage Foundation, the Cato Institute, the Federalist Society, the Hoover Institution, the Reason Foundation, and the Mercatus Institute, among other groups.”

I pray you realize what this means. The AGs have gotten together and decided they will use the power of government to silence any policy research contrary to their “religion” of climate change. In other words, the progressive socialists have decided there is to be no further debate. And the ramifications are to be subpoenaed by this kangaroo court. Therefore, we are in a new era in America where dissent will be criminally prosecuted.

Let me repeat, the progressive leftists have decided that dissent is a criminal offense.

This is no different than the Organization of Islamic Cooperation seeking to criminalize any speech deemed “offensive” to Islam — and the Obama administration has agreed and supports UN Resolution 16/18. What country are we living in? This is the pure and unadulterated definition of fascism. And what is next? Punishing people for the crime of heresy?

Imagine what could be next… you don’t agree with common core and do policy research to demonstrate its failure — and have legal action taken against you? What about disagreeing with progressive socialist tax policy? Can any of you imagine what would happen if Republican attorneys general came together and brought legal action against left wing advocacy groups and policy research centers that advocate tax and spend economic policies? How about a lawsuit or subpoena brought against every progressive socialist left wing group that advocated for Obamacare!

Everyone, this is the full maturation of the socialist left. They are not liberals, as in the classical liberalism of John Locke, which espoused the virtues of individual freedom: life, liberty, and property. But I suppose it’s to be expected since Vladimir Lenin himself stated that the objective of socialism is communism — and we know what happens to millions of folks under that rule.

“One target of the subpoena, the libertarian Competitive Enterprise Institute, has already publicly responded to Walker. Its attorney called a separate subpoena received by the group “a blatant attempt to intimidate and harass an organization for advancing views that you oppose.”

“Your demand on CEI is offensive, it is un-American, it is unlawful, and it will not stand,” wrote Andrew M. Grossman, an attorney with the Washington firm BakerHostetler. “You can either withdraw it or expect to fight.” Walker’s efforts will likely meet similar resistance from other organizations targeted by the subpoena, some of which have publicly denounced Walker’s efforts in reference to its targeting of CEI. Hans von Spakovsky, a former Federal Election Commissioner and a senior legal fellow at Heritage, called the subpoena “a truly outrageous abuse of [the attorney general’s] authority and a misuse of the law.”

“This investigation is intended to silence and chill any opposition,” von Spakovsky wrote. “It is disgraceful and contemptible behavior by public officials who are willing to exploit their power to achieve ideological ends.”

This is exactly what’s needed to galvanize Constitutional Conservatives and Libertarians. This is an ideological battle and now is not the time to retreat or cower. Now is the time to lock shields in an impenetrable phalanx.

This issue should be brought up before Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders with the demand that they condemn this action. If they do not, then we will know they’re both progressive socialist fascists, and Tom Steyer’s money is certainly behind this endeavor and their consent.

This is a story we need to repost and expose. We need to melt down the phone lines of every Member of Congress. And we need to shut down the White House email and phone lines and let them know this legal action needs to cease and desist.

This is what Donald Trump should be talking about today and he should focus the entire brunt of his anger against this.

If this continues, then very simply, we should not be traveling to the Virgin Islands because obviously their Attorney General doesn’t embrace the American ideals of academic liberty and freedom. I would never have thought this would happen in America, yet it has. But the onus is on us all to send a very clear message: it will not be tolerated. It will not end here; the leftists are already redefining freedom of religion and the free exercise thereof to mean where they decide you can worship.

I stand with these conservative policy centers to “Just Say No” to USVI Attorney General Claude Walker. We will not surrender to fascism. We will not be intimidated. We will not be forced to accept an ideological position. We will not allow the perversion of the law in order to advance tyrannical persecution. This story needs to be everywhere and relentlessly so, until Walker relents, and apologizes. I am furious about this and God save Claude Walker’s soul.
