Peanut Butter and Jelly Gummies / Nutella Gummies
For Peanut butter and Jelly Gummies
4 tbsp unflavoured gelatin (5 envelopes of Knox gelatin) 1/4 cup peanut butter 1 tbsp (or more) honey 1 1/2 cups of liquid like nut milk (I used almond milk) Some jelly or jam for gummy centers if using.
For Nutella gummies
4 tbsp unflavoured gelatin (5 envelopes of Knox gelatin) 1/4 cup Nutella 1 1/2 cups of liquid like nut milk (I used almond milk) Some extra Nutella for gummy centers if using
It is basically the same method for both kinds. Place liquid (almond milk) in a medium saucepan Add honey if using Add peanut butter or Nutella Heat over medium high heat, whisking until smooth and until the mixture comes to a boil. Remove from the heat and sprinkle a small amount of the gelatin over the surface and then stir it in. Sprinkle a bit more gelatin and stir, continue this way until combined. If there are clumps of undissolved gelatin in the mix, put it back on the heat and heat until boiling again. Whisk until gelatin is dissolved.
Transfer to container with spout if desired. Pour into molds. To make gummies with filling, fill the mold to half way and chill the mold until there is a skin on top of the jello and it is partially set. Pipe on a small amount of jam or nutella on top of the partially set gummy. Top with more liquid gummy mixture, allow to set until solid. This can be done at room temperature or in the fridge.
I suggest lightly greasing the mold with cooking spray if they are not flexible, they will be easier to remove.
Store in a covered container in the fridge.
