California's legislature is about to pass a bill making it illegal for journalists to report on undercover recordings even if they didn't make those recordings. It's a response to videos last year showing Planned Parenthood employees discussing fetal tissue sales. This bill is so straight out of 1984 that even the ACLU is against it.
Also: South Sudanese soldiers rape and beat foreign aid workers while UN peacekeeping troops less than a mile away refuse to help; Turkey threatens to open the refugee floodgates again; gangs of migrants smashing up French motorists' cars in Calais--locals being advised to "avoid roads"; President Obama to send the TPP to Congress for a vote--after the election; and New York rabbi asks, "Is God transgender?" (Hint: No.)
