Inanna, the Babylonian deity, was the androgynous god/dess of sex and war. Given what's in the news lately, we can make a good case that Inanna (Ishtar / Astarte / Aphrodite / Venus) is the true spirit of 21st century America.
Also: US commandos nearly hit by Syrian warplanes; State Department warns Americans not to travel to Iran; racial tension prophesied by Jesus; and Christian pastors try to claim that sex with anyone in or out of marriage is pretty much OK with God.
