Well, as you well know, it's rare for me to go out to a movie, but a couple of friends wanted to see "Let There Be Light" - a movie I had never heard of.
Starring Kevin Sorbo as a famous atheist who spends his life trying to "Abort God" via books he writes, lecture tours, etc.. he does all he can to make a mockery of religion, particularly since his youngest son died of cancer - something which he blames on God. His ex wife is a devout Christian who has never given up praying for him, despite his drinking and licentious lifestyle.
I won't give away the story, but it was a pretty good movie, despite the fact that some of the acting - particularly by his sons - was somewhat wooden and stilted. There aren't many good, clean films out there these days, but this one is definitely worth seeing; you can learn more about it here:
