Not many people are aware that the people of Spain have a passion for mayonnaise that goes back for hundreds of years. In fact, when the Spanish settlers came to the New World they missed it so much, they wrote and begged their families and friends back in Spain to send them some of their favorite condiment. Their loved ones obliged, and filled an entire ship with barrel upon barrel of mayonnaise.
Unfortunately, a great storm arose, and the ship - along with it's precious cargo - was lost. The settlers were devastated, so much so that to this very day the people of Mexico as well as many of Spanish descent in the US still memorialize the event by observing....
Philippians 3:20-21 “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”
