Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Cr 1:18 ¶ For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

2Cr 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Cool. It still pains me to see many so called christians fall into the trap of "lordship salvation" which demands lordship before salvation.....in other words, you can't know you are saved. I will forever rest upon the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, that His sacrifice alone payed the price for my sins and my response in faith stimulated by His word is the guarentee....and i can pay nothing in addition to the cross for my salvation. No works will suffice because they are all as an unclean thing.....we depend upon Christ alone.
