Elktooth! Paging Elktooth! What's your take on this?
This isn't Biblical prophecy, but it's interesting how virtually every religion realizes we're at the end of days.
Rare White Buffalo Born - Key to Ancient Native American Prophecy
The rare white buffalo holds significant prophetic meaning for Native American tribes. Similar in importance to the prophetic meaning of the red heifer to Jewish religious beliefs, the recent birth of a white buffalo has caused quite a stir among the Native American tribes. According to Native American legend, the world will be in the LAST of the Last Days when the fourth white buffalo is born. The fourth white buffalo was born on May 12, 2011!!
well..i will say this.. i love buffalo...any color.. as far a it being a sign...a sign of the end times.. i know the stories..white buffalo woman..and all this.. which the Catholics told the natives that this was the virgin mary.. and many native christians..see it this way...
in my opinion...whatever signs are seen or claimed ...IF it be of GOD..it will speak ONLY...ONLY OF THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS.. IT WILL ONLY BE TO FURTHER THE TRUTH OF HIS FINISHED WORK..TO AFFIRM HIS TRUTH. if it puts focus on rituals, traditions, old ways, spirits etc..i believe it is of another spirit altogether... however we know that ALL THINGS work together for the good of those who love him...
anyway, beautiful creation this beast is...praise JESUS. elktooth

The unusual colouration of Lighting Medicine Cloud - so called because he was born during a thunderstorm - marks him out as sacred in Native American Lakota Sioux tradition and his birth was marked with a naming ceremony.
Because of his unique colour, the two-month-old calf, still unsteady on his feet, caused over 2,000 Native Americans from across the U.S. to flock to the Lakota Ranch, in Greenville near Dallas, for yesterday's celebrations. Scroll down to see video of the sacred white buffalo at the ceremony

Thousands of Native American from across the country joined in with the celebration White buffalo are considered to be sacred signs in several Native American religions, and thus have great spiritual importance in those cultures and are visited for prayer and other religious ceremonies. Yesterday flag-flying patriotism, a steady Native American drum beat and scorching heat provided the backdrop for the spiritual event that attracted a crowd of about 2,200.
Lightning Medicine Cloud, whose name is also a tribute to a white buffalo born in 1933, named Big Medicine, is thought - in Lakota Sioux tradition - to be the third of its kind ever born. In addition, he is thought to be the first male white buffalo calf born in 150 years.

The Lakota Sioux believe that Whope, the goddess of peace, once appeared in the form of a white buffalo calf, and the belief is that the goddess will return once four such calves are born, bringing in 'a new age', which some reckon could be the end of the world. 'He's the hope of all nations,' said Arby Little Soldier, upon whose land the calf was born on May 12. 'That night it started to rain and thunder and lightening and hail. But now the red man, black man, white man and yellow man; we've all got to come together as one.'

Sacred: Lightning Medicine Cloud was born in a thunderstorm in May - he is thought to be the third white buffalo ever born, according to Lakona Sioux Native Americans
WHY ARE WHITE BUFFALO SACRED? According to the National Bison Association a white buffalo is born approximately every 10 million births. White buffalo are considered to be sacred signs in several Native American religions, and thus have great spiritual importance in those cultures and are visited for prayer and other religious ceremonies.
Buffalo are normally brown in colour; white buffalo can result from one of several physical conditions: They may be leucistic, with white fur but blue eyes, instead of the pink seen in albinos. They may have a rare genetic condition which causes a buffalo to be born white, but to become brown within a year or two as it matures. They may be albinos, in which case they will remain unpigmented throughout their lives, and may also have hearing and vision problems. They may be beefalo, a bison-cattle crossbreed, and thus have inherited the white colouration from their cattle ancestry.
At the ceremony Arby Little Soldier wore elaborate beading, a feathered headdress and held a spear above his head as he rode his steed into an arena.
He then thrust the spear into the dirt declaring it sacred ground. There was an announcement requesting for cameras to be put away before a small group of tribal leaders moved to the centre, offered a prayer then smoked a special pipe. Finally Lighting Medicine Cloud, and the rest of the buffalo herd, was coaxed into a nearby pasture, where they could be seen.
The six-week-old white buffalo stuck close to his mother as they ambled back and forth along the fence line. Chief Standing Strong, who was at the ceremony, said: 'This is a commemoration of the white buffalo which is very sacred in Native American history.'
Speaking to Kera, he continued: 'This is the third one that has ever been born. When four specially marked white calves are born Whope will reappear, uniting nations and ushering in a new age. 'When the fourth one is born, according to Indian legend, it's the beginning of the end time.' Another Native American, Poche, said: 'It's the new coming, it's the new birth that's going to re-feed everything. The buffalo are coming back and the white bison's here to represent the new age.' Whether or not Lighting Medicine Cloud is the third of his kind, or the first male in 150 years, was not verified. But all agreed that the birth of such a calf was unusual and stressed that it was not an albino, given its dark nose, eyes and marking on the tip of its tail.
Little Soldier added: 'He had to be a male had to have a black nose, black eyes and a black tipped tail and he had all the features.
'He's the pure blessed bull whose been sent here with the message and prophesy.' [youtube]
