This picture is featured on the People of Walmart website. Frankly, I'm no fan of "Christian apparel" - if you have to advertise that you're a Christian, something is missing. Here's the question they ask on the site: "It’s time again for Who Wears It Better: Billboard For Jesus Edition. So sinners, which of these two are you going to let lead you to salvation?" We all know that Jesus is the only way to salvation, but do you think jackets (or other clothing) like these are effective, or are they more likely to turn people against Christianity? Please vote...and tell us what you think.

I'm not comfortable with it. I think there are better ways to spread the Good News. Telling people Turn to Jesus or Burn in Hell will definitely turn people off. It's rude and Jesus was never rude. I don't think He wants us to be either.

I particularly dislike "cutesie" Je$u$ Junk things - that gambling jacket is an example, as are these: More Je$u$ Junk can be seen here: www.alittleleaven.com/jesus_junk/Is it any wonder so many refuse to take Christianity seriously?

1Cr 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. This is the message not what thier doing!!!!!!!!!! For we are all as dirty rags well you know. ;D The good news of the gospel and to be a light to the rest of the world!!!!!!!!!! Rom 16:25 ¶ Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to [glow=red,2,300]my gospel[/glow], and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, Rom 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: Rom 16:27 To God only wise, [be] glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Whoa whoa whoa. Okay, the shirts in the picks aren't really spreading the good news, but PLEASE DON'T BASH ON MY T-SHIRTS. Kerusso-to PROCLAIM THE WORD Kerusso t-shirts were created to help spread the message about Jesus being our savior. Most of their shirts are not only nice looking...but spread joy. I've had a lot of people engage me because of what i wear....BUT there is a catch. If you are going to wear christian apparel...you had BETTER ACT LIKE A CHRISTIAN! I wrote an editorial in high school about showing our faith. What we wear is one way we show our faith. ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-70692116284386_2208_21101986That one there is one of my favorites.

I think as long as a christian shirt isn't being rude and is actually spreading a good message....and the person wearing it is actually acting the way a christian should act....no problem. It's when you create an offensive shirt or a rude shirt or you don't act like a christian that it is a problem.

So what do you think, ws, of the many, many "Christian" T-shirts that pretty much plagiarize corporate logos? Do you think that's right? Here's a real goodie....they're using the Neronic cross, symbol of the AC, on a "Christian" shirt: And here's the occult trichetra: OK, I have to be honest - looking through the "Christian T-shirt" selection, most of them are downright goofy! I gave up looking at them after the third page of about 50....it was embarrassing.

Copywrite law allows for "spoof" logos to be used. Yeah...i have no problem with that. They aren't trying to pass it off as the same thing. In fact i have an old 24/7 shirt that spoofs 7/11. I think they are neat. Once again though.....most people that know me, are going to know i'm a christian even if i'm not wearing the shirts. Be prepared to be held accountable, that's all i'm saying.

Well.. I'm not a fan of cheesy t-shirts etc that seem to make fun of our faith.. but some I have seen are really quite cool! I really love a lot of the stuff that these people sell: www.kerusso.com/ - we even tried to get them to open a store here in Australia.
