Tyler Perry can be counted on for movies that are entertaining, clean, and have a good moral lesson, and in that sense, this one doesn't disappoint.
Wesley Deeds is the good son who takes over running the hugely successful software company his late father founded, because his older brother - the rightful heir to the CEO throne - manages to screw up everything he sets his hand to. He's engaged to the kind of woman he's expected to marry, and has a boring, predictable life.
Enter an attractive young cleaning lady from the office - a war widow with an adorable little girl - who ends up homeless and is in danger of losing her daughter.
This was a cute story, although - like Wesley - somewhat predictable. No foul language, no nudity...although in a couple of scenes you knew Wesley was having sex with his fiance. Also no Madea...Perry's best, most lovable character.
Good, clean, feel-good entertainment...although this was by no means Tyler Perry's best work. (In my book, that title belongs to Diary of a Mad Black Woman.)
