I've been a long-time Tyler Perry fan (yes, I know his theology stinks, but he's a filmmaker, not a theologian), and was looking forward to "A Madea Family Funeral," which is the 11th and final installment in the Madea franchise. I was sad about that, but only until I saw the movie.
What can I say - an anniversary party turns into a funeral when the husband of the celebratory couple dies while - to put it gently - in a hotel room with another woman - a room that's next door to the one where one of his sons is spending time with his brother's fiance, thinks he recognizes his father's voice, and goes to his room to confront him, and finds him dying. Need I say more? It goes downhill from there - seems it's all about adultery and fornication, and well...don't waste your time and money.
Perry should have quit while he was ahead.

I saw it before I saw this review. Ugh! Wasn't even funny! And what's with his putting only ONE white person in the entire movie?
I agree - don't waste your time and money.
