Board has been down for posting all day

Sorry, everyone - but it seems that the hosting company's servers have been down for long periods today.  I was able to post earlier, then couldn't get back in.  I don't know if the problem has been fully resolved, but until then, apparently you can read, but posting might be another story.  

Until we're sure the problem has been resolved, I'd suggest not posting anything long in case your post gets lost.

Well, so far so good today.  I was able to log on last night after several failed attempts (POH told me she was having the same problem, but wasn't able to log on at all), but when I did I not only couldn't post, but when I clicked onto a forum it wouldn't even open so the existing threads could be read.  

It's rare that the host has problems, and they're usually very good at getting them resolved quickly.

Thanks for updating everyone, Schwartzie.  I tried many times and couldn't sign in, and the one time I did manage to do so I had the same problem where I couldn't get into any of the forums.  

I did check out the Proboards help forums, and saw they'd been having various problems all day.  Hopefully they're all cleared up.
