That's right - I went to a first-run movie and paid full price! ;D I loved the prior two MIB movies, and couldn't wait until this one came to the cheapie theater. Actually, I went to a late showing (10 p.m.), so I was the only one in the theater, and let me tell you - it was worth a few extra dollars to not have to put up with people talking to each other, ill-behaved kids, phones ringing, people texting..... As for the movie itself, I loved it. No great moral lessons (although it had some very sweet moments), no prophetic message (but I'll bet a certain group would see the subject of aliens as "a sign"), just good clean fun - no foul language, no sex, nothing objectionable - take grandma as well as your grandkids to see this one with no reservations. Like the last two MIB movies, there was some incredible creativity and imagination displayed in the various aliens that were portrayed. In a nutshell, Agent J went back in time to save Agent K's life, because in an alternate dimension in time he would have been killed and they never would have become partners. Lots of great special effects - I particularly loved the one-wheeled, super-charged motorcycles (I want one!) - and lots of action..with a surprise twist that I never saw coming. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith were excellent, as always, but Josh Brolin really shone as a younger version of Agent K - it was hard to believe that this wasn't really Tommy Lee Jones as he looked 40 years ago! This is definitely a "don't miss" summer movie.

I liked the first MIB too. That was a brilliant casting move pairing Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith..the two of them were a hoot!
I'm looking forward to seeing the sequel.

No just the first one. Was the second one good too? I may have to order that on Netflex and watch it next weekend.

Yes, the second one was also very good - definitely worth getting. Those aliens they come up with are so clever!

You mean the 'demons' they come up with are so clever. Why yes they are! They have to be when the majority of the world think these 'creatures' are from another planet and have our best interests at heart. Just like our government does.

Yes, WE know they're not real aliens....but sometimes you have to put being serious aside for a little while and just have fun. Otherwise one runs the risk of becoming like that ranting nut in "Here's Your Sign" who refuses to do anything enjoyable with his wife and kids, just lay in his hammock and wait because "the rapture might be today." Frankly, he's going to turn his kids against Jesus, if he hasn't already.
Actually, the star "alien" - Boris the Animal - was portrayed as the evil entity he was.
Non sequitur - I hate when hateful, evil people are referred to as "animals." Animals don't have a sin nature, and don't harm, kill, and maim just for "the fun of it."

That's an excellent point, Arlene. I never thought of it that way. But what you said is true...even vicious dogs only attack because they feel threatened or are defending themselves or have been abused or were trained to behave that way. Yeah I agree with you on the movie point as well....I can watch these movies and enjoy them if they don't take themselves seriously or have an evil agenda say like the Twilight series or Harry Potter does. Plus I like Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith and together they're hilarious!

Here is a grewat example how foul language is becoming part of our culture...or what this world is going to...they are every where and we hear them so much we do not even hear them or they do not stand out...I copied this part of the movie review off Focus on the Family and shows what is in the movie
I can not even take my kids to the movies any more for most of them are ruined with it....I wanted to take my kids to this one but not after I read this
Five or six s-words; 10 or 12 uses each of "h‑‑‑," "d‑‑n" and "a‑‑." There's a single use of "b‑‑tard." Someone uses the Yiddish pejorative "schmuck." God's and Jesus' names are misused once or twice each; God's is combined with "d‑‑n."

Well, as long as we're in the world, you're never going to be able to avoid that entirely; you just learn to have selective hearing, or else never leave your home, never put on a TV or radio, avoid the internet... You can watch Sarah, Plain and Tall just so many times, ya know?
Actually, schmuck generally means "idiot" - I don't have a problem with it.

I avoid R rated movies like the plague. PG13 movies in general are usually family friendly (some aren't but like with anything, we have to use our discretion) and fun like MIB and Adam Sandler's Jack and Jill. In our world today we just have to be careful of what we and our children (if they're younger) see.

Oh I agree but the issue is just like Battleship it would have been great but it was rated Strong language and it has over 30 strong ones....I agree with some of the slang they call cuss words are not bad ones
I am trying to get so I do not use them at all which is hard after being in the military and you use them every other word

Emo, I too had a problem with this....and I struggled with it for a while after I became Saved . I was brought up in a family of unbelievers (except for my one Godly grandmother) and they all used swear words so naturally when I got older I used them too. When I became Born Again these swear words really bothered me. I cringed every time someone used them or when I myself used them in a heated moment. I HATED myself afterwards of course. So what I did was each time I caught myself using swear words I stopped and repented and then asked God to take these words from me and He did. Now here's where an interesting thing happened: not only did I stop using these words but so did my friends and family (whenever they're around me). I never once asked them to stop they just did it on their own. God works in amazing ways, Amen?

That is so cool I will have to try that one...I was a sailor and talked like one...my kids are the one I am trying to protect from getting like I was and am...I always feel bad when they slip out of my mouth and I tell the boys only stupid is a reason...people are to stupid to talk without them
Well my oldest would not watch the movies or turn them off and this week he is wanting to see movies and said "Oh they only have a few bad words" and I said that is how they get you. Then it is a little more and a little more then you are saying them also
