Palin or Bachman: What Does God Say?

Jred has written an excellent blog on Look Up Fellowship about a woman running for POTUS:
A couple of weeks ago I noticed a random comment from a friend on Facebook about Sarah Palin. It wasn't so much the comment itself that caught my eye, but the fact that it was coming from a Christian -- a Christian woman no less.
Now, why is that even newsworthy, you ask? Well, because most Christians are like the blind leading the blind when it comes to Palin and her political aspirations. Furthermore, I've sadly noticed that most Christian women are particularly offended whenever anyone -- let alone a man -- says anything 'negative' (never mind if it's actually factual) about her. That brings us to today's topic for discussion.
Both Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann are emerging as the two most viable candidates for the Republican nomination to take on the Democrats and President Barack Obama. I realize the thought of us making it to that point in time without the fulfillment of some major end times prophecies might seem unlikely to us, but that's exactly what I want us to think about for just a moment today.
Have you noticed that it's becoming increasingly difficult these days to have any kind of sound Biblical discussion without emotions and opinions entering into the mix? Yes, even sound Biblical discussions with other believers in Christ. That's a problem.
In fact, the problem is becoming so persistent (commonplace really) that I actually devoted an entire broadcast of RNR to the topic.
Take, for instance, the issue of the US facing the very real prospect of having its first female President in 2012. There's not much more I can add to this subject that I didn't already cover in the 2-3 hour 2010 podcast "Why Are Christians Embracing Sarah Palin When They Shouldn't Be?", but I want to try.
