A girl had to be rescued when she climbed a 40ft electricity pylon thinking it was a bridge after smoking super-strength cannabis. Horrified locals spotted the 21-year-old - from Zlin, Czech Republic - apparently trying to cross a river and dialed 999. Police spokesman Jan Macalikova said: "It was a nightmare because she was very much under the influence of drugs and wasn't making much sense. "She was convinced, though, that the pylon was a bridge across the Morava river." Drugs counsellors and police eventually persuaded her to come down after two hours on the pylon. "She received treatment at hospital for her drugs consumption but was otherwise unhurt. She's lucky she didn't get a new high - high voltage," added the police spokesman. web.orange.co.uk/article/quirkies/Stoned_girl_mistook_pylon_for_bridge

Is it me or are drugs becoming more stronger and weirder? It's like these latest drugs send people off into some dark bizarro world. Very scary.

The article said she had been smoking 'super-strength cannabis' or in other words really strong marijuana. I can't believe marijuana, (even super-duper strength marijuana) would cause someone to mistake (hallucinate?) a pylon for a bridge...she had to be on something else.

Yeah, marijuana doesn't do much but make you lethargic and give you a bad case of the munchies. Something must have been added to it.
Someone would have to be pretty stupid to do drugs in the first place - I mean, they see the effect it has on people; do they think they're any different?
It seems like stupidity is running rampant these days....

Likely laced with that bath salts stuff. They say you can smoke it, snort it, inject it, or whatever. Sick sick sick.

I think so too. Pot alone does not cause people to act this way. This is really Tin Foil but I'm wondering if 'someone' is lacing regular stuff like Pot or drugs on the street with this demon drug without telling anyone. The CIA did something similar to this in the '60's. Only back then they used LSD.
