UK Govt Launches Covid and Flu Vax ‘Marketing Campaign’ Aimed at Pregnant Women, Minorities

The British government has launched a Covid booster and flu jab drive, with pregnant women, ethnic minorities, and “individuals with long term health conditions” targeted in particular.



The vaccine drive, described as a “marketing campaign” in an official press release on the government’s website, urges “millions to boost their immunity this winter” against coronavirus and influenza.



“Adverts will air across television, radio, social and digital media, stressing the importance of people getting both vaccines to increase their protection this winter,” the government stated, noting that “almost 10 million people in England have already received their boosters.”



People “with long term health conditions, pregnant women and ethnic minority communities” will receive “targeted communications”, with “a particular focus on those with low vaccine confidence” — with the likes of London mayor Sadiq Khan having previously noted that minorities, in particular, are less likely to be vaccinated, and even suggesting they should be given preferential treatment to boost uptake.



Indeed, the government complained in its release that “[v]accination for flu is currently behind last season for pre-schoolers (12.1% in all 2 year olds and 12.8% in all 3 year olds), pregnant women (12.4%) and under 65s in a clinical risk group (18.2%).”

“The restrictions we had in place to curb the spread of COVID and protect the NHS last year also prevented the flu virus from spreading as we would normally expect to see, so levels of immunity in the population are likely quite low,” suggested Dr Thomas Waite, the Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England, in comments quoted in the release.



“As winter approaches, we can expect flu and COVID cases to rise in all age groups. Getting vaccinated against both viruses is the most important thing you can do to reduce your chances of getting seriously ill… it is important to be protected before any winter surges begin,” he added.



Dr Mary Ramsay, Director of Immunisations at the UK Health Security Agency, formerly Public Health England, warned that “a difficult winter is expected”, and that officials “want people to think about COVID-19 and flu as equally important ” this year.

(Natural News) Scott Schara, the father of a 19-year-old girl with Down syndrome who died due to hospital negligence, said the world is at the beginning of a holocaust and hospitals are being used to implement it.



Schara’s daughter Grace died in the hospital a few days after she tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). She was admitted to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Wisconsin, given a deadly combination of precedex, lorazepam and morphine and ultimately given an illegal declaration of Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order.



“The doctors and nurses in the hospitals receive immunity from liability for killing people that continued along with the bonuses that they pay hospitals for following these agendas that literally murder people,” Schara told host Sean Turnbull during his recent guest appearance at the “SGT Report.”



Since the death of his daughter, Schara has been deep into investigations into the real reasons why there was gross negligence in hospitals. It was also important to note that Grace didn’t have an advocate for 44 hours because Schara was taken out of the St. Elizabeth Hospital for questioning the protocols.



“It was this time that they increased the dose of a sedation drug precedex seven different times. These sedated my best buddy instead of taking care of her. The package insert says specifically to not use that drug for more than 24 hours because it causes acute respiratory failure. And so the first cause of death on Grace’s death certificate was acute respiratory failure, which was directly caused by the hospital using that drug,” he said.

According to Schara, the hospital received a $7,500 bonus for listing that as the first cause of death. Listed as the second cause of death was COVID-19 pneumonia, and St. Elizabeth has received a $13,000 bonus for that. He said the second cause should have been the overdose of precedex, which the hospital ratcheted up to 14 times the original dose.



The hospital also ordered Grace to use the ventilator, but the family refused. The Scharas later found out that the use of a ventilator would have earned the hospital up to $300,000.



Hospitals target elderly and disabled

Grace’s care provider listed that she had Down syndrome 36 times in 22 doctor’s reports during the week that she was in the hospital, Schara said.



“It shouldn’t change anything with the standard of care. But they’ve already been indoctrinated through the ‘banality of evil’ that Down syndrome people are worthless eaters and they don’t have a benefit to society,” he pointed out, highlighting that she was a clear target of the depopulation agenda and same as with the elderly. The term banality of evil was coined by philosopher Hannah Arendt to dub the characteristics of Adolph Eichmann, who was “not inherently evil, but merely shallow and clueless.” Eichmann was a Nazi operative who organized the transportation of millions of Jews to various concentration camps in support of the Nazi’s Final Solution.



He also linked the current healthcare methodology with Stanley Milgram’s experiment, which showed what a person would do when ordered by the authority to kill somebody.

“Back in 1963, two-thirds of the people participating [in Milgram’s experiment] would have killed the other person just by receiving an instruction from their supervisor. In the case of the hospital, they’ve already been indoctrinated to get the jab on the threat of losing their job. And then you’ve got to follow these protocols on the threat of losing your job,” Schara said.



Both Schara and Turnbull advised listeners to be very careful if somehow they end up in the emergency room.



“How you answer those [assessment] questions will determine if you’re going to make it out of there alive. You have to get wise to hospitals in your area that haven’t been ‘bought.’ You have to get wise to have an advocate in the room,” he urged.

China’s Latest Coronavirus Lockdowns Spread Nationwide

China’s coronavirus lockdowns spread across much of the nation this week, hitting large cities and manufacturing hubs in what the state-run Global Times conceded was a “grim epidemic situation.”



The Global Times reported Henan province is bracing for “potential [Chinese coronavirus] outbreaks in the winter and next spring,” which suggests residents of the provincial capital Zhengzhou should enjoy the lifting of coronavirus restrictions in select “low-risk areas” while they can.



Zhengzhou is the location of the Foxconn plant, the world’s largest factory for assembling Apple’s iPhones. Terrified workers are scrambling over fences and fleeing the city to escape a potential lockdown after a rash of Chinese coronavirus infections was reported at the facility.


The Global Times reported that Zhengzhou officials are simultaneously pleading with Foxconn workers to remain calm and regard Chinese coronavirus as a treatable disease of moderate severity – an astonishing 180-degree turn from the Communist Party’s usual rhetoric – and offering rides home to the workers who insist on leaving:



An additional 200 staff doing nucleic acid tests have been dispatched to the Foxconn production plant, as a way to detect the infectors as soon as possible amid several rounds of nucleic acid test, in order to curb the virus spreading, according to the local authorities on Monday. Meanwhile, an additional 400 working staff have also been dispatched to the region to do timely disinfection.



Foxconn previously denied rumors claiming that about 20,000 employees have been affected with COVID-19 in the company’s Zhengzhou park and claimed that “operation and production in the Zhengzhou park is relatively stable with health and safety measures for employees being maintained,” according to a statement sent to the Global Times previously.



A classified epidemic management will be conducted to help resume the normal life gradually in Zhengzhou. Residents should abide by the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, wear masks, scan health codes, check the negative nucleic acid test certificate within 24 hours before traveling, and residents are not allowed to go to the COVID-19 affected areas, said the authorities.



Even as city officials proclaimed looser coronavirus restrictions and the return of “normal life” to parts of Zhengzhou, they also instructed residents “not to leave the city unless necessary.”



Guangzhou, the provincial capital of Guangdong, has also reported a “serious outbreak,” which Chinese Communist officials blamed largely on “imported [Chinese coronavirus] cases from other provinces and overseas.”



Guangzhou officials canceled 888 flights by noon on Monday, shutting down about three-quarters of airport traffic. City health officials claimed infections were spread by “freight drivers, tourists, students, and those coming to Guangzhou for medical treatment,” which suggests more draconian restrictions on road and train travel might be coming.


Near-total airport shutdowns were reported in other cities as well, including Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The oppressed Uyghur Muslims have complained of particularly callous treatment by Chinese officials during coronavirus lockdowns.



Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, also reported almost 100 percent of its flights were canceled, giving it the highest cancellation rate in China as of Wednesday.



The Chinese Centers for Disease Control on Tuesday warned of a possible “twindemic,” as influenza is spreading rapidly alongside Chinese coronavirus infections. Chinese CDC officials called for “accelerated vaccination and other measures to prevent such a scenario.”

Take A Rare Glimpse Inside China's Zero-Covid Madhouse

The western world has been given a rare, intimate look inside the confines of a Chinese Covid-19 concentration camp, after Financial Times Shanghai correspondent Thomas Hale was ensnared by the President Xi Jinping's zero-Covid regime.



It's not that Hale had tested positive. Merely being designated as a "close contact" was enough to sentence him to 10 days of confinement on a secret island camp identified only as "P7."



Hale provides a primer on framework of China's system works:



"PCR testing in China is an almost daily ritual and testing booths are common on many street corners. They look vaguely like food stalls, except they’re larger and cube-shaped and a worker inside sits behind Plexiglas cut with two arm holes.



They are merely the surface machinery of a vast monitoring system. China’s digital Covid pass resembles track-and-trace programmes elsewhere, except it’s mandatory and it works. Using Alipay or WeChat, the country’s two major apps, a QR code is linked to each person’s most recent test results. The code must be scanned to get in anywhere, thereby tracking your location. Green means you can enter; red means you have a problem."



Hale's journey into Covid madness started with an innocent outing at a Shanghai bar. Apparently, someone who'd also been at the bar tested positive. Via the tracking system, the authorities knew Hale had been there too.



Hale had "won" some kind of terrible lottery: On the day he was in the bar, there were only 18 cases in all of Shanghai that day -- a city of 26 million people.



A few days after his bar outing, authorities called to confirm he'd been at the bar. The next day, a caller from the Shanghai Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention alerted him that authorities were on their way. Hale was about to be "taken away" -- an expression Chinese use when describing the phenomenon.



Next, a hotel staffer called to say he couldn't leave, and that the hotel was in lockdown due to his mere presence in it. Then came the men in hazmat suits, who escorted him down a deserted hallway to a staff elevator and out through the cordoned-off hotel entrance. He was directed to board a small bus driven by another man in a hazmat suit.



Hale joined the other condemned passengers -- none of whom had actually tested positive. His hopes that he'd be taken to a quarantine hotel were dashed. A drive of more than an hour ended on a small road in the middle of a field, with several large buses queued up ahead of his.



The driver got out, locked the bus behind him and wandered off. A fellow passenger was surprised to hear that Hale was from the UK: "They brought you here? With a foreign passport?" Hours of waiting on the increasingly chilly bus went by, until it finally moved again at 2 am.



As he was trudging along to his assigned quarters, a fellow detainee pointed to three rows of wire above the perimeter fences, beyond which were only tall trees.

Hale's new home was a box similar to a shipping container, elevated by short stilts. His and every door was monitored by a camera. There was no hot water.



"Inside my 196-sq-ft cabin there were two single beds, a kettle, an air-conditioning unit, a desk, a chair, a bowl, two small cloths, one bar of soap, an unopened duvet, a small pillow, a toothbrush, one tube of toothpaste and a roll-up mattress roughly the thickness of an oven glove



The floor was covered in dust and grime. The whole place shook when you walked around, which I soon stopped noticing. The window was barred, though you could still lean out. There was no shower.



...The bed was made of an iron frame and six planks of wood, and the mattress was so thin you had to lie completely flat. The bed frame, meanwhile, was impossible to lean against."





Hale was sentenced to live here for 10 days, only because he allegedly was in loosely-defined "contact" with some unknown person who tested positive (Thomas Hale/Financial Times)


He was pleasantly surprised, however, to find the internet connection was 24 times speedier than what he had at his hotel. Like Hale, the camp staff were prohibited from leaving or receiving deliveries there. A worker said he earned the equivalent of about $32 a day.

Hale tried to see if his status as a foreign journalist might spring him from detention. The worker he approached with that question was baffled by the mere premise...but we can't blame Hale for trying.



Hale describes key aspects of daily life in Covid detention:



Every morning, he was awakened by a "lawnmower-like noise," as an industrial-grade machine sprayed the cabin windows and front steps with disinfectant

Around 9 am, two workers came to administer PCR tests. A positive result would have meant being taken to a different type of detention

Meals were delivered at 8 am, noon and 5 pm

Hale pursued a strict routine of language study, writing, exercise, music, online chess, and then reading or watching Amazon Prime entertainment

The routine served him well. Over time, he noticed his neighbors stopped eating breakfast, while some could be heard pacing their shaky boxes at night.



He did endure some psychological discomfort, in the form of not knowing when he'd get out. He was originally told seven days but it ended up being 10.



Upon his release and return to civilization, Hale savored the hot water of the hotel's shower and the softness of its bed. When he went out for a celebratory meal, however, he faltered -- pacing the street as he contemplated the fact that entering China's contact-tracing matrix brought the peril of a return to confinement.



He settled on takeout from a steak restaurant, where an employee said there'd be no need for his code to be swiped -- if he ordered takeout.

NO AMNESTY: Covid forgiveness comes AFTER the tyrants are fully brought to justice and good governance is restored

(Natural News) In order to even begin the process of officially putting an end to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) nightmare that destroyed millions of lives over the course of several years, those responsible for these crimes against humanity must be punished.



It is not enough to just say sorry and move on, as some, including Emily Oster of The Atlantic, are now saying. What needs to happen now is that Oster and the rest of her ilk receive punishment for what they did, just like other criminals are tried and prosecuted for their crimes.



This is not something that we can just forgive and forget about, despite Oster’s pleas for the world to just turn the other cheek. There must be justice, and it must be swift and to the full extent of the law in every instance. Oster and others would have us believe that they all just made an innocent mistake and were confused – that it was all just a big misunderstanding. Mask mandates that suffocated children all day; “vaccine” mandates that cost people their jobs – these things were just a little oopsie that should now be forgotten about, we are told.



There can be NO AMNESTY for the covid criminals

If we simply let these serious crimes against humanity go without pursuing any kind of justice, these covid criminals will just do it all again in the future after cooking up their next scheme.



If we fail to deliver the proper repercussions to the monsters who destroyed our lives, our families, and our children, then those same monsters will simply be emboldened to pull more authoritarian stunts in the years to come.

The covid tyrants must admit they fell prey to false government messaging and turn their lives over to “a Power greater than themselves” that is capable of restoring their sanity. They then need to take a full moral inventory of themselves to see how and why they were led to think the way they did and push tyranny on the masses.



They then need to humbly repent before God while making a full list of every person they harmed in order to “make amends to them all.” This must then be followed up with a lifestyle of constant soul-searching, as well as prayer and supplication with God to seek guidance about how to never again inflict this type of harm on other people.

Pfizer Brags of “Multi-Billion Dollar” COVID Vaccine Franchise as it Marks Up Price by 10,000%

Big money maker, COVID-19 Vaccines, are not going to go by the wayside according to a big pharma leader who celebrated the recent company windfall to investors; in fact, according to a recent discussion by industry leaders, big pharma is estimating that while each individual COVID-19 vaccine shot cost just $1.18 to make —it will cost the public a lot more than that to get the shot.



Industry leaders are also anticipating a new pricing schedule that represents a 10,000 percent markup for the public to purchase their product. That is a lot of profit.



Pfizer’s chief financial officer, David Denton, described the Covid pandemic as a ‘multi-billion dollar franchise’ — and expects profit to continue, telling investors last week his company’s vaccine and antiviral would still be ‘relevant for many years to come.’



The CFO said on the call that he expects the Covid virus to be ‘somewhat like a flu… but more deadly’ — meaning therapeutics will still have a massive role in controlling the virus., and hinting the company would be ready to scoop up the profits as fast as possible for investors gain.



According to reports, Pfizer has reaped about $80 billion in yearly revenue from sales of Covid vaccines and the antiviral drug Paxlovid and announced last month it will triple the price of its shot to up to $130 per dose next year — a far cry from the roughly $19 to $30 per dose that the government paid.



“Analysts speculate that the move was made so Pfizer could still meet its target of $32 billion of projected vaccine revenue this year. Critics say that the decision shows the firm’s greed. Peter Maybarduk, director of access to medicines at Public Citizen, told DailyMail.com that the firm was already in a good of financial position that they could take some loss,” The Daily Mail reported, adding:



“Maybarduk also said that the firm has already made an ‘obscene’ amount of money, and will be ok if they do not meet revenue projections that were likely inflated anyways.



Pfizer was an early winner during the pandemic when it became the first company to get a Covid-19 vaccine approved for the US market. Subsequent vaccine mandates for healthcare workers and the military further drove up sales of vaccines.”



The outlet continued adding more details:



The company projects $102 billion in total revenue this year with the vaccine and its antiviral Paxlovid – more than double the company’s yearly revenue in 2019 ($40.9 billion) and 2020 ($41.7 billion).



Julia Kosgei, policy advisor to the The People’s Vaccine Alliance said: ‘Experts have estimated that Pfizer’s vaccine costs just $1.18 per dose to make… Charging $130 per dose would represent a markup of more than ten thousand per cent. This is daylight robbery.’



The group’s website describes their work as ‘vaccine apartheid’:

‘Governments must not stand by while companies like Pfizer hold the world to ransom in a global pandemic,’ Kosgei told the media.



Contracts signed by the government to secure billions of doses of vaccines at no cost to Americans will run out soon, shifting the cost of purchasing shots to health insurance companies.



Pfizer CFO David Denton told investors: ‘I think if you look out longer term, the franchise is going to be a multibillion-dollar franchise in the respect that this is going to be somewhat like a flu, sustained flu, but actually more deadly than the flu.



‘I think the products, both from a vaccine and the therapy perspective that Pfizer has developed, are going to be quite relevant for many years to come,’ he said.



Pfizer’s move to hike up the cost of each Covid shot for the private health insurance market likely would not affect people with private insurance or those enrolled in the government healthcare programs Medicare and Medicaid. Health plans typically cover the costs of vaccines.

(Natural News) To increase the flow of new blockbuster pharmaceutical drugs to America’s millions of addicts, Pfizer is planning to massively price-hike its Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” next year.



The company has already been making bank on the shots, which cost around $1 to produce. Meanwhile, Pfizer has been selling them for thousands of times higher than that to governments around the world.



That gravy train is soon ending as government contracts expire, so Pfizer’s next step, according to statements made during a recent investor call, is to jack up the price of its messenger RNA (mRNA) Fauci Flu shots to fund the development of new pharmakeia offerings for migraines, ulcerative colitis, prostate cancer, sickle cell disease, and obesity.



Paxlovid, an antiviral drug that Pfizer ripped off based on the formulation of generic ivermectin, is another big money maker that Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla says helped to double the company’s revenue streams this year. “Pfizer is a remarkable marketing machine,” says Timothy Calkins, a professor of marketing at Northwestern University‘s Kellogg School of Management. “They have an incredible ability to make the most of molecules and get them adopted.”



U.S. government among Pfizer’s biggest marketing vehicles

None of Pfizer’s record-breaking profits would have been possible these past few years were it not for the help of the United States government, which purchased massive lots of the company’s shots using American tax dollars.

Not only that, but the U.S. government continues to market and advertise the shots via agencies like the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Both of these agencies continue to push Americans to get “boosted” and to suck down Paxlovid prescriptions in order to stay protected against Chinese Germs.



Now that the scamdemic is long over and nobody is lining up for shots anymore, Pfizer is watching its revenue streams dwindle somewhat – though the company is still well in the green.



“… even with a 66% drop in covid vaccine sales in the past quarter, the company made about $4.4 billion in those three months,” reported Kaiser Health News. “Pfizer has a deep stream of cash to finance its future. Covid has been very good for business.”



Since an increasing number of Americans are entering the obese category, thanks to decades of consuming pharmaceutical drugs and GMO-laced foods, Pfizer is seeing more dollar signs in the weight-loss category of pills and shots.



Wall Street is expecting so much more obesity, in fact, that analysts are predicting that Pfizer will easily “find a place there with marketing.”



Pfizer was also able to procure “a $450 million write-off of inventory related to covid-19 products,” according to analysts, due to dwindling interest in the company’s drug wares as of late.



Nearly half-a-billion dollars’ worth of covid shots that exceeded their “approved shelf-lives” were tossed, and Pfizer was able to collect a tax write-off in exchange – because Big Pharma never seems to miss any opportunity to rake in more cash.

(Natural News) The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) wants half a trillion dollars from Dr. Eric Nepute, a Missouri doctor and chiropractor who allegedly violated the COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act by telling people they could take vitamin D and zinc in order to stay healthy throughout the plandemic.



Because Nepute also sold vitamin D and zinc – many chiropractors sell vitamins and dietary supplements to patients who want them – the FTC is accusing him of committing fraud.



“The federal government is suing me for half a trillion dollars … for telling people to take vitamins,” Nepute says about this latest political circus and abuse of taxpayer dollars by the feds.



Nepute’s case is scheduled to go to trial in Missouri federal court next March. A jury will decide if the FTC’s 27-page complaint against him, which was issued in April 2021, holds any merit.



The 41-year-old licensed chiropractor owns and operates the Nepute Wellness Center in St. Louis. He also owns Quickwork, a limited liability company that does business under the name of “Wellness Warrior.”



That Wellness Warrior entity advertised, promoted, and sold a product called “Wellness Warrior Vita D,” along with other products, that contain anti-covid ingredients such as vitamin D and zinc.



“Starting no later than June 2020, [Nepute] began advertising a protocol that customers should follow to protect against, prevent, or treat COVID-19,” the FTC complaint states. “This protocol, which has varied over time, advises consumers to take [daily] substantial quantities of emulsified Vitamin D3 and zinc.”

According to the FTC, there are “no published studies” that “prove Vitamin D protects against, treats, or prevents COVID-19.”

Truth be told, there are no published studies that suggest covid “vaccines” protect against, treat, or prevent the Fauci Flu either. In fact, a bulk of available evidence suggests that the jabs make things worse for a person’s immune system.



There is, however, plenty of evidence that points to vitamin D being effective against colds and the flu, which is basically all the Chinese Virus ever was (with a few bio-engineered modifications).



Even so, the FTC says Nepute’s “lack of factual or scientific bases for these claims [are] frequently accompanied by equally unsupported assertions regarding applicable science.”



“In short,” the FTC adds in its complaint, “defendants are selling their products by disseminating information, exploiting fears [amid] a pandemic, and posting a significant risk to public health and safety.”



Once again, these are all the very same things that Rochelle Walensky at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Tony Fauci at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) did concerning face masks, stay-at-home orders, the jabs, and more.



None of those interventions bear any anything scientific to support them, and all of them were propagated on the masses to stoke fear and panic. And yet the FTC is not going after any of them, nor is it going after the likes of Pfizer and Moderna for lying about the safety and efficacy of their covid injections.



The reason is because the federal deep state and its Big Pharma partners are a protected class that owns the “science” on all matters. Only they are allowed to produce “cures,” in other words.



“The only reason they’re coming after me – and they said this – is because I’m the first doctor they went after, and they want to set a precedent,” Nepute says. “They said they wouldn’t stop until they had ‘blood on their sword.’ That’s literally from the FTC’s mouth.”

Here We Go: CDC Says It’s Monitoring a New COVID Variant Known as “XBB” – Deemed ‘Most Vaccine Resistant Strain Ever’

On Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that it is monitoring a new COVID-19 variant known as “XBB,” which is responsible for an estimated 3.1% of all new infections in the United States, according to Yahoo News.



Back in October, health officials in the US said they were tracking a new Covid strain that is being called the “most vaccine-resistant ever” after causing a surge in cases in Singapore.



The recent outbreak of infections in Singapore has been traced to XBB, a “recombinant” of the Omicron subvariants BA.2.10.1 and BA.2.75.



“Preliminary research suggests the Omicron subvariant XBB might carry a higher infection risk and be more resistant to neutralizing antibodies from booster vaccine doses and antibody drugs, but more studies are needed, according to Verywell Health.


According to the latest weekly estimates from the CDC, the Northeast is where the strain has spread the farthest. In this week’s CDC’s “Nowcast,” over 5% of infections in the areas spanning New Jersey through Maine are related to XBB.

Earlier this month, the CDC offered preliminary estimates suggesting XBB is potentially doubling in proportion about every 12 days. That could be faster than the current pace of the BQ.1 and BQ.1.1 variants now dominant across the country.



However, the Biden administration’s top COVID officials and experts say they do not think XBB will pose a new threat on the scale of when the Omicron variant first emerged a year ago.



“Where we’ve seen surges, they’ve seen mostly it be driven by seasonality, people coming inside, spending more time around one another, but not being specifically being driven by the emergence of a new variant,” the CDC’s Ian Williams told a meeting of the CDC’s emergency response and preparedness advisers earlier this month.



XBB is one of several new lineages that have displaced BA.4 and BA.5, the Omicron variant siblings that had driven a wave of cases over the summer. As of this week, the CDC says BA.5 has fallen to less than 1 in 5 new infections nationwide and BA.4 has now virtually disappeared.



The strain’s arrival also comes at a time when most regions, including the Northeast, are seeing relatively flat or slowing COVID-19 hospitalization rates.



Around 3 in 4 Americans currently live in counties deemed at “low” COVID-19 Community Levels, the lowest tier of precautions recommended by the agency, according to figures released Friday by the agency.



“However, there’s a lot of worry that a new variant could emerge and start us all over again. So there’s a lot of work focusing on making sure we’re prepared and thinking about that and watching if it emerges around the world, so we can become prepared,” Williams added.

COVID Lockdown Protests Erupt In Beijing, Xinjiang After Deadly Fire

Protests have erupted in Beijing and the far western Xinjiang region over COVID-19 lockdowns and a deadly fire on Thursday in a high-rise building in Urumqi that killed 10 people (with some reports putting the number as high as 40).


Crowds took to the street in Urumqi, the capitol of Xinjiang, with protesters chanting "End the lockdown!" while pumping their fists in the air, following the circulation of videos of the fire on Chinese social media on Friday night.

Protest videos show people in a plaza singing China's national anthem - particularly the line: "Rise up, those who refuse to be slaves!" Others shouted that they did not want lockdowns. In the northern Beijing district of Tiantongyuan, residents tore down signs and took to the streets.

Reuters verified that the footage was published from Urumqi, where many of its 4 million residents have been under some of the country's longest lockdowns, barred from leaving their homes for as long as 100 days.



In the capital of Beijing 2,700 km (1,678 miles) away, some residents under lockdown staged small-scale protests or confronted their local officials over movement restrictions placed on them, with some successfully pressuring them into lifting them ahead of a schedule. -Reuters

According to an early Saturday news conference by Urumqi officials, COVID measures did not hamper escape and rescue during the fire, but Chinese social media wasn't buying it.



"The Urumqi fire got everyone in the country upset," said Beijing resident Sean Li.

According to Reuters;



A planned lockdown for his compound "Berlin Aiyue" was called off on Friday after residents protested to their local leader and convinced him to cancel it, negotiations that were captured by a video posted on social media.



The residents had caught wind of the plan after seeing workers putting barriers on their gates. "That tragedy could have happened to any of us," he said.



By Saturday evening, at least ten other compounds lifted lockdown before the announced end-date after residents complained, according to a Reuters tally of social media posts by residents.

Zero-Tolerance: Chinese Lockdown Protests Intensify In Rare Display Of Defiance

Protests in China over President Xi Jinping's zero-tolerance Covid-19 measures have intensified - expanding from Beijing and the far western Xinjiang region to several other major cities, including Wuhan, Shanghai, and the eastern city of Nanjing, according to video and photos circulating on social media.

The weekend protests followed Friday demonstrations in Urumqi, the capitol of Xinjiang, after a deadly fire killed residents who were locked inside following lockdowns which have lasted more than 100 days. Officials have reported 10 deaths in the fire, however citizens have reported up to 40 who perished.







The protests are a rare display from a typically compliant citizenry, who know that crackdowns on dissent have intensified over the past decade. As the Wall Street Journal notes, " Having protests over the same issue break out in multiple Chinese cities is almost unheard of, outside of nationalist outpourings, such as anti-Japanese protests."



Since the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989, the ruling party has allowed some local demonstrations, but made it a priority to prevent nationwide protests.



On Saturday, videos circulating on social media showed crowds gathering on a street in central Shanghai calling for a lifting of lockdowns. The videos were verified by Storyful, a social-media research company owned by News Corp, parent company of The Wall Street Journal. -WSJ

China Is Building The World’s Largest Quarantine Camp In Guangzhou with 90,000 Isolation Pods — This Is The World Economic Forum’s ‘Role Model’ For The Global Community

The Chinese city of Guangzhou is building makeshift hospitals and concentration camps to house 250,000 people amid an alleged uptick in Covid-19 cases across the country.



Footage posted on social media showcases the new makeshift quarantine camp constructed in Guangzhou, the largest camp in China, that will be used to detain Covid-positive Chinese citizens in 90, 000 “isolation pods.”

Guangzhou, a city of 13 million people, reported 9,680 new Covid cases in the past 24 hours.



The spike of Covid positive patients in Guangzhou comprises “about 40 percent of the 23,276 cases reported nationwide. China’s infection numbers are low compared with the United States and other major countries, but the ruling Communist Party is trying to isolate every case,” the Associated Press reports.



The city government announced last week plans to double down on the nation’s “zero-covid” policy by rapidly constructing more quarantine camps with thousands of beds.



“The epidemic situation in Guangzhou still is very serious,” said a city official, Wang Baosen, according to the South Metropolis Daily newspaper.



Guangzhou is reportedly adding 246,407 beds, including 132,015 in hospital isolation wards and 114,392 for people who are infected but have no symptoms.

The alleged spike in Covid infections across China has prompted the government to confine and even lock families in cramped apartments to prevent a single case of Covid in the workplace or neighborhood.



In another video posted on Twitter, a white-garbed health worker is seen wielding bars over apartment building doors during the lockdown to prevent residents from leaving their homes and barring access to food, basic necessities or critical medical care.

Chinese dissidents have taken to the streets and are speaking out against the communist government.

In Wuhan, protesters are chanting, “The epidemic started in Wuhan and it will end in Wuhan.”

While the Chinese Communist Party has withheld true death and case statistics, Chinese government officials have admitted to more deaths as a result of “zero-Covid” in the past six months than they have as a result of coronavirus infection.

Chinese officials have confirmed the deaths of at least two people denied medical care over lockdowns in November – a three-year-old boy in northwestern Lanzhou and a 55-year-old woman in Inner Mongolia – and 27 people who died on a bus headed to a coronavirus quarantine camp that was inexplicably driving around mountainous cliffs in the dead of night. Dozens of other deaths – including individuals starving, lacking basic necessary medical products, or committing suicide – have been denounced, and later censored, on Chinese social media, though the government has not admitted to these.



The government denied that lockdown protocol caused the death of a four-month-old girl in Zhengzhou who was refused medical treatment, allegedly because she did not test positive for coronavirus and thus not treated as an emergency case, but claimed she died as a result of “a weak sense of responsibility” on the part of health workers.




The Global Times reported that the last documented coronavirus death in China allegedly occurred on May 26 in Shanghai, amid a brutal lockdown that is believed to have triggered multiple suicides.



While thousands of Chinese citizens are detained in concentration camps after testing Covid positive, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has admitted PCR tests used to diagnose Covid are unreliable and unable to distinguish Covid from the flu.



At the onset of the pandemic in the US, frontline doctors in the United States established medications, including Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, that effectively treat Covid, a manmade virus that initially only posed lethal harm to the elderly and those infected with pre-conditions. Banning life-saving medications paved the way for the government to mandate dangerous Covid vaccines, which are ineffective at preventing the transmission of Covid, and institute lockdowns.


The World Economic Forum heralds Communist China as a “role model” for many countries as the global community endeavors upon a “systemic transformation of the world.”



Last week, WEF chairman and founder Klaus Schwab touted China’s zero Covid policy and praised Beijing for being a leading figure in the WEF’s vision of a Great Reset of capitalism.



“I respect China’s achievements, which are tremendous over the last over 40 years, I think it’s a role model for many countries,” the Davos chief said, adding that while he believes countries should be able to choose the system they prefer to live under, the “Chinese model is certainly a very attractive model for quite a number of countries.”



“I look very much forward to having a strong Chinese voice in Davos to explain even better to the world what it means to see the party Congress which laid down the principles of the policy [and] what it really means for global collaboration and for global development,” Schwab added.






Schwab’s remarks follow his attendance at the G20 Summit meeting in Indonesia on Nov. 15, where Chinese President Xi Jinping convened with Western leaders after a hiatus following the Covid outbreak in Wuhan.



During the meeting, G20 leaders agreed to develop the health security state at an international level and adopt a globally recognized digital health passport, universal digital Covid-19 certificates, to track, monitor and restrict people’s freedom of movement during the “next pandemic.”


When the G20 Summit concluded, its formal communique included a strongly worded declaration on digital health passports which is published on the White House website.

Here We Go: WHO Warns Drop in COVID Alertness Could Create New Deadly Variant

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned on Friday that ignoring COVID-19 alertness could lead to the emergence of a deadly new variant.



It has been a year since the World Health Organization designated Omicron as a “variant of concern,” as Tedros pointed out over the weekend.



“Last Saturday marked 1 year since WHO announced a new COVID-19 variant of concern: the Omicron variant. Omicron has proved to be significantly more transmissible than Delta, and continues to cause significant mortality due to the intensity of transmission, Tedros said.



“The number of weekly COVID-19 deaths reported to WHO has declined slightly over the past 5 weeks, but over 8,500 people lost their lives last week – which is not acceptable three years into the pandemic, when we have so many tools to prevent infections and save lives.”


“Since the emergence of Omicron, the COVID-19 virus has continued to evolve. Today, there are over 500 sublineages of Omicron circulating,” he added.



“They are all highly transmissible; they replicate in the upper respiratory tract & tend to cause less severe disease than previous variants of concern; & they all have mutations that enable them to escape built-up immunity more easily.”



Just a few months after declaring that the world has never been in a better position to end the pandemic, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has reversed course.



“We are much closer to being able to say that the emergency phase of the pandemic is over, but we’re not there yet,” Tedros said.



Tedros claimed that 90% of the population now has some level of immunity to COVID-19 because of previous infection or vaccination.



“WHO estimates that at least 90% of the world’s population now has some level of immunity to SARS-CoV-2, due to prior infection or vaccination. We are much closer to being able to say that the emergency phase of the pandemic is over – but we’re not there yet,” he said.



“As many countries reduce testing, WHO is receiving less and less information about transmission and sequencing. This makes us increasingly blind to patterns of transmission and evolution. But this virus will not go away just because countries stop looking for it,” Tedros warned.



“Gaps in surveillance, testing, sequencing and vaccination are continuing to create the perfect conditions for a new variant of concern to emerge that could cause significant mortality,” he continued.

[Tedros] comments come as China experiences a rebound in infections.



Addressing the global gaps in vaccination, WHO’s technical lead Maria Van Kerkhove said that the agency wants governments around the world, including in China, to focus on reaching those at risk such as people over the age of 60 and those with underlying conditions.



The further easing of COVID-19 testing requirements and quarantine rules in some Chinese cities was met with a mix of relief and worry on Friday, as hundreds of millions await an expected shift in national virus policies after widespread social unrest.



It was encouraging that China was adjusting its current COVID-19 control strategies, WHO’s emergencies director Mike Ryan said.



Ryan said he hopes that a coherent and clear strategy emerges in China “that balances the control of the virus with … the livelihoods, wellbeing and human rights of the people.”

Health Experts Warn Broccoli, Raspberries, Cheese and Ham Could Give You COVID-19

British health experts have issued a warning that consuming fresh produce, baked goods, and certain ready-to-eat foods could put you at risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus.



According to the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA), the virus that causes Covid-19 can live on some ready-to-eat groceries for days.



However, the scientists determined the risk of contracting the virus via food is classified as “very low.”



Scientists intentionally spread the virus on packaging and food products like fruit, pastries, and bottled drinks as part of research conducted by the University of Southampton, and commissioned by FSA.


“The researchers purposefully contaminated the surfaces of foods and food packaging with infectious SARS-CoV-2, measuring the decline in the presence of infectious virus on the surfaces over time, at a range of temperatures and relative humidity levels to reflect typical storage conditions,” FSA said in a statement.



Broccoli, peppers, apples, raspberries, cheddar cheese, ham slices, olives, olive brine, white and brown bread crusts, croissants, and pain au chocolat were all sampled and evaluated.



Foods were chosen because they are regularly eaten raw, are sold in bulk or in open containers, and may be difficult to wash.



Polyethylene terephthalate (PET1) trays and bottles, aluminum cans, and composite drinks were also tested.

The study’s results shows that the survival of the COVID-19 virus varied depending on the contaminated foods and food packaging. On some foods, such as cheese and ham, the virus survived for several days. On others, such as apples and olives, virus levels dropped quickly. For most food products tested there was a ‘significant drop’ in the levels of virus contamination over the first 24 hours.



For cheddar cheese and sliced ham, stored in refrigerated conditions and a range of relative humidity, virus levels remained high up to a week later, when the testing period ended. Both cheddar cheese and sliced ham have high moisture, protein, and saturated fat content, possibly offering protection to SARS-CoV-2. On apples and olives, the virus was inactivated to the limit of detection within an hour, when the first timed measurement was taken. The researchers question whether flavonoids present in the skin of apples and olives inactivate the virus. The rate of viral decrease was rapid and occurred within a few hours for croissants and pain au chocolat, the egg wash coating on both of which may inhibit SARS-CoV-2.



Food packaging materials tested had variable virus survival. For all food packaging (PET1 trays and bottles, aluminum cans, and composite drinks cartons), there was a significant drop in levels of COVID-19 contamination over the first 24 hours, in all relative humidity conditions and at both 6 °C and 21 °C.



Based on the current findings, FSA concluded that the assumptions the agency made in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic were appropriate, and that the probability of humans catching the virus through food is very low. The results will not lead to any changes in FSA’s official advice on COVID-19 and food handling, however, they may inform future FSA risk assessments.

Scientist Who Worked at Wuhan Lab Claims COVID Was a Man-Made Virus

A former vice president of Eco-Alliance — the company at the center of the mystery of the pandemic’s origins — says in his new book that the extraordinarily lax procedures and security at the Wuhan Institute of Virology led to the coronavirus escaping from the lab.



Michael Huff claims that the virus was deliberately engineered through “gain-of-function” experiments funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health.


Eco-Alliance was founded and run by Peter Dazsak, whose activities on behalf of the Chinese government in pushing back against the lab leak theory have been questioned by authorities as well as other scientists. Huff confirms what we already knew about the incompetence of Wuhan managers in following strict safety procedures:



“Foreign laboratories did not have the adequate control measures in place for ensuring proper biosafety, biosecurity, and risk management, ultimately resulting in the lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” he said in his book.

“China knew from day one that this was a genetically engineered agent,” Huff wrote. “The US government is to blame for the transfer of dangerous biotechnology to the Chinese.



“I was terrified by what I saw,” the army veteran from Michigan told The Sun. “We were just handing them bioweapon technology.”



The Wuhan Institute of Virology, a state-run and funded research facility home to China’s riskiest coronavirus research, has been under immense pressure by the ruling Chinese Communist Party to produce scientific breakthroughs to raise China’s global status despite lacking resources, according to a recent investigation published by ProPublica/Vanity Fair.



The claim that the coronavirus that caused the pandemic was man-made is possible but not likely. First, Huff was not working at the Wuhan lab during the period of time in question. Secondly, researchers looking into the origins of the coronavirus are absolutely convinced it was naturally occurring. It may very well have escaped the lab due to the incompetence and lax security of the lab managers but there is scant evidence it was artificially created.



Huff is a former vice president of EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based non-profit that studies infectious diseases. The group has been studying different coronaviruses in bats for more than a decade with funding from the National Institutes of Health and had forged close ties to the Wuhan lab.



Huff, who worked at EcoHealth Alliance from 2014 to 2016, said that the non-profit helped the Wuhan lab put together the “best existing methods to engineer bat coronaviruses to attack other species” for many years.



That’s where the gain of function research comes in. Despite Dr. Fauci’s strenuous denials, there is overwhelming evidence that the Wuhan lab was taking bat viruses and fiddling with their DNA to alter their function — making them more deadly to some animals. Fauci and his defenders call it something else and can get away with it because, scientifically speaking, the lab did not technically carry out “gain of function” research using the strictest definition of the term.



While Huff isn’t breaking much new ground in his book, he has confirmed that the full story of the origins of the coronavirus that led to the deaths of more than six million people around the world has yet to be told. But it probably won’t be as long as the Communist Chinese are in control.

China set to experience ‘winter wave’ of death as Beijing eases ‘zero COVID’ policies following widespread protests

(Natural News) China’s “Zero COVID” policy, which has been in place in one form or another since the outbreak began in that country two years ago, has finally run its course, apparently, following new and widespread protests throughout the country over the past month.



As such, Beijing appears set to lift the restrictions but according to analysts, that decision will come at a deadly price.



Amid those protests and the associated waning economic growth that came with them, new policies that will allow for some home quarantines as well as allowing citizens to enter public areas without being tested were announced following a meeting of the Chinese Communist Party’s politburo during which they outlined how it was more important to stabilize the economy than combating a two-year-old virus that never had the lethality that the globalist regime claimed it did.



Still, that doesn’t mean that COVID doesn’t kill; it does, and as populous as China is, lifting restrictions could mean resulting deaths in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions (which will also affect China’s economic output and exports, thereby exacerbating a global supply shortage of nearly everything from food to cars to computer chips).



“We will protect people’s safety and health to the greatest [extent] and keep the impact on social and economic development to a minimum,” the State Council Prevention and Control Mechanism said on Wednesday, which was quoted by South China Morning Post.



According to Zero Hedge:



The new measures from the communist government call for isolating asymptomatic or mild Covid cases at home rather than in quarantine camps or hospitals for seven days. Anyone in contact with the infected would have to quarantine at home for five days instead of eight days at a camp and then at home.



The State Council disbanded the rule for people to show negative Covid tests before entering public places.



“People no longer need to show a negative PCR [polymerase chain reaction] result or a health code to enter public venues or to travel, except when entering hospitals, schools, and homes for the elderly,” the SCMP noted further.



The outlet added: “The new policy stressed that basic social and medical services need to be provided. People’s movements, work and production should not be restricted in low-risk areas.”

Still, the news is being met with mixed emotions because it still isn’t certain how the ChiCom government will actually implement the changes, or, rather, allow them to be implemented.



“Although the measures announced today are positive steps towards reopening, it appears some of the reopening exuberance is fading. Disappointing trade data is also a reminder of the slowing external demand heading into next year,” said Marvin Chen, an analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence.



“Though the market is still trading on the positive expectations we are not entirely out of the woods, as we still have to get past the panic that might come with the first wave of infections,” Ma Xuzhen, fund manager at Longquan Investment Management, added.



“The current propaganda messaging is that a reopening will be costless,” said Rodney Jones, principal at Wigram.



“The risk is that they are underestimating just how much work — and cost — the rest of the world has done and borne to get to the point of living with Covid.



“China has done nothing to prepare for this step, and Xi appears to be doing so on impulse as a reaction to the protests, rather than as part of a careful policy program,” Jones said

The global lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic ruined the lives of millions of people, especially the most vulnerable. Now the globalists responsible admit they issued their decrees solely on the basis of politics.



The World Health Summit held a three-day conference in October with the World Heath Organization (WHO). Approximately 300 speakers and 3,000 participants attended to discuss the world’s COVID-19 response and how to approach future pandemics.



Reporter Alexandra Lavoie from Rebel News went to the conference undercover and released footage on Thursday. She spoke with Razak Gyesi Issahaku, a member of the German-West Africa Center for Pandemic Prevention (G-WAC) and pressed him on the globalist elite’s decisions related to the pandemic. Here are some of his answers:



“In the heat of the pandemic, most of the decisions were not based on science like I said. They were just reactionary. Anything that would help,” said Issahaku.


“Now, with the benefit of hindsight, we can tell that some of those decisions is not backed by science.”



Issahaku then admitted the vaccines do not stop COVID from spreading. Last year, Pfizer claimed their vaccine reduced the spread of the virus by 90%.



“The vaccines do not stop the spread of the disease. But now we know,” he said. “At first, nobody knew so it was political, yes, but we think it helped in flattening the curve as well.”



Issahaku went on to admit no scientific basis existed for travel bans and used Africa as an example. He then suggested this would not happen again because “people were much more prepared.”



“When you came to Africa, movement between two villages was not possible during the heat of the pandemic,” he said.



“So a decision had to be made. Although we don’t know the scientific basis for those decisions, people had to comply and we think it worked.



“But now with the benefit of hindsight, a lot of the things that happened with COVID wouldn’t have happened from what we know now. People were much more prepared than they were before.”







Lavoie then sought full and incontrovertible clarification. “We know that the lockdown was bad for business, and bad for children. Now that we know so much information, should we do the same for the next pandemic?”



“No that’s what I’m saying. A lot of the decisions were not backed by science,” said Issahaku.



Scientists across the political spectrum sounded the alarm on the harm of lockdowns from the beginning of the pandemic. Media and political elites, however, derided them as conspiracy theorists and reckless.



The few politicians who actually followed the science, like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, saved their economies from ruin and countless lives in the process. Amazing what happens when governments prioritize protecting the vulnerable and allow healthy adults to make a living.



We should never again trust the politicians who locked us down and falsely claimed scientific basis for doing so. Only eternal vigilance will keep them from repeating their authoritarian actions.

Covid cases explode in Beijing leaving city streets empty and daily life disrupted

Empty streets, deserted shopping centers, and residents staying away from one another are the new normal in Beijing – but not because the city, like many Chinese ones before it, is under a “zero-Covid” lockdown.



This time, it’s because Beijing has been hit with a significant, and spreading, outbreak – a first for the Chinese capital since the beginning of the pandemic, a week after leaders eased the country’s restrictive Covid policy.



The impact of the outbreak in the city was visible in the upmarket shopping district Sanlitun on Tuesday. There, the usually bustling shops and restaurants were without customers and, in some cases, functioning on skeleton crews or offering takeout only.



Similar scenes are playing out across Beijing, as offices, shops and residential communities report being understaffed or shifting working arrangements as employees fall ill with the virus. Meanwhile, others stay home to avoid being infected.



One community worker told CNN that 21 of the 24 workers on her Beijing neighborhood committee office, tasked with coordinating residential matters and activities, had fallen ill in recent days.



“As our superiors are mostly infected, there’s not much work being given to us,” said the employee, Sylvia Sun. “(The usual) events, lectures, performances, parent-child activities will definitely not be held.”



Beijing, which prior to the new rules was already experiencing a small-scale outbreak, is now on the front lines of a new reality for China: not since the early days of the pandemic in Wuhan have Chinese cities dealt with an outbreak without hefty control measures in place.



But for a place that until earlier this month assiduously tracked every case, there is now no clear data on the extent of the virus’ spread. China’s new Covid rules significantly rolled back the testing requirements that once dominated daily life, and residents have instead shifted to using antigen tests at home, when available, leaving official numbers unreliable.

‘Impossible to grasp’

On Wednesday, China’s National Health Commission (NHC) gave up trying to keep track of all the new Covid cases, announcing it would no longer include asymptomatic infections in its daily count. It had previously reported these cases, albeit in a separate category from “confirmed,” or symptomatic ones.



“It is impossible to accurately grasp the actual number of asymptomatic infections,” the NHC said in a notice, citing reduced levels of official testing.



Authorities on Wednesday morning reported 2,249 symptomatic Covid cases nationally for the previous day, 20% of which were detected in the capital. Those figures are also thought to be impacted by reduced testing. CNN reporting from Beijing indicates the case count overall in the Chinese capital could be many times higher than recorded.



In a Twitter post, Beijing-based lawyer and former American Chamber of Commerce in China chairman James Zimmerman said about 90% of people in his office had Covid, up from around half a few days ago.



“Our ‘work at home’ policy is now ‘work at home if you’re well enough.’ This thing came on like a runaway freight train,” he wrote on Wednesday.



Experts have said the relatively low number of previously infected Covid-19 patients in China and the lower effectiveness of its widely-used inactivated-virus vaccines against Omicron infection – as compared with previous strains and mRNA vaccines – could enable the virus to spread rapidly.



“The current strains will spread faster in China than they have spread in other parts of the world because those other parts of the world have some immunity against infection from previous waves of earlier Omicron strains,” said University of Hong Kong chair professor of epidemiology Ben Cowling.


The impact

The extent of severe disease or death in Covid-19 outbreaks typically takes time to become clear, but there are signs of an impact on the health care system – with authorities in Beijing urging patients who are not seriously ill not to seek the help of emergency services.



The city’s major hospitals recorded 19,000 patients with flu symptoms from December 5 to 11 – more than six times that of the previous week, a health official said Monday.



The number of patients visiting fever clinics was 16 times greater on Sunday than a week prior. In China, where there isn’t a strong primary care system, visiting the hospital is common for minor illness.



So far, however, there were only 50 severe and critical cases in hospitals, most of whom had underlying health conditions, Sun Chunlan, China’s top official in charge of managing Covid, said during an inspection of Beijing’s epidemic response on Tuesday.



“At present, the number of newly infected people in Beijing is increasing rapidly, but most of them are asymptomatic and mild cases,” said Sun, who also called for more fever clinics to be set up and made assurances that supply of medicines – which have been hit by a surge in purchases in recent days – was being increased.



Prominent Shanghai physician Zhang Wenhong warned that hospitals should do everything they could to ensure that health workers were not getting infected as quickly as the people in the communities they serve. Such a situation could result in a shortage of medical staff and infections among patients, he said, according to local media reports.



Concerns about scarcity and access to medicines and care have been palpable in public discussion, including on social media. There, a Beijing reporter’s account of her time in a temporary hospital for Covid-19 treatment triggered a firestorm on social media, with a related hashtag getting more than 93 million views on China’s Twitter-like platform Weibo since Monday.



Social media users questioned why the reporter, who showed her two-bed room and access to fever medicine in a video interview posted by her employer Beijing Radio and Television Station on Sunday, received such treatment while others were struggling.



“Awesome! A young reporter gets a space in a temporary hospital and takes liquid Ibuprofen for children that is hard-to-find for parents in Beijing,” read one sarcastic comment, which got thousands of likes.



Another popular response complained that “ordinary people” stay at home with kids and elderly with high fevers.



“Could you give (her) bed to me if I called (the hospital)?” the Weibo user asked.



Amid fears of the virus, residents have rushed to buy canned peaches, following rumors the vitamin C-loaded snack could prevent or treat Covid. Chinese state media has since warned people the preserved fruit is not a Covid remedy nor a substitute for medicine.

China's Post-Zero-COVID Surge Is Infecting 37 Million People Per Day

In a stunning admission, according to estimates from the government’s top health authority, nearly 37 million people in China may have been infected with Covid-19 on a single day this week.



This is a shockingly stark divergence from the extremely low 'official' case count (which reported just 62,592 symptomatic) and utterly dwarfs the previous global daily record of about 4 million, set in January 2022, as Omicron spread...







The new data was provided in a closed-door meeting by Sun Yang, a deputy director of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, on Wednesday.



According to two people familiar with the matter, The FT reports that Chinese officials estimate about 250mn people or 18 per cent of the population were infected with Covid-19 in the first 20 days of December as Beijing abruptly abandons its Zero-COVID strategy that for almost three years has crushed economic growth (and citizens' freedoms).



As @mrseanhaines noted on Twitter, it's amazing the 180 Chinese state media have done on their Covid messaging of late.

Bloomberg notes that it is unclear how the Chinese health regulator came up with its estimate, as the country shut down its once ubiquitous network of PCR testing booths earlier this month. Precise infection rates have been difficult to establish in other countries during the pandemic, as hard-to-get laboratory tests were supplanted by home testing with results that weren’t centrally collected.



Sun said the rate of Covid’s spread in the country was still rising and estimated that more than half of the population in Beijing and Sichuan were already infected, the people briefed on the meeting said.



And, of course, 99.9% of those people will be just fine.


This is extremely notable obviously as while China is experiencing its first real wave of infection, it is massive and will likely mean almost the entire nation will have natural immunity in two to three months... which will allow the economy to restart fully.


Chen Qin, chief economist at data consultancy MetroDataTech, forecasts China’s current wave will peak between mid-December and late January in most cities, based on an analysis of online keyword searches.


The lack of information made public by China on its Covid wave has led Washington and the World Health Organization to push Beijing to be more transparent on case counts, disease severity, hospital admission figures and other health statistics that have been made widely available by other countries.



“It is very important for all countries, including China, to focus on people getting vaccinated, making testing and treatment available and, importantly, sharing information with the world about what they’re experiencing,” U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said at a Dec. 22 press briefing.



“It has implications not just for China, but for the entire world. So we would like to see that happen,” he added.



Finally, we note that The Epoch Times reports ten famous Chinese medical experts passed away soon after Beijing lifted its zero-COVID policy. Most of them were members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and two were allegedly involved in the live organ harvesting of prisoners of conscience.



While the Chinese media reported the deaths resulting from “illness,” they didn’t provide additional information, causing Chinese netizens to speculate.



A Chinese netizen commented, “It is indeed a bit strange that they died in December one after another—especially on the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th.” Another said: “They all died of ‘illness’ without specific reasons. It’s hard not to contemplate why.”

On Sunday, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned that China is plotting to infect the entire world with a new strain of the coronavirus in the new year.



Pompeo called on the US and global leaders to immediately shut down travel from China.


The Daily Mail reported:



Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo insists the U.S. – and the world – should shut down accepting travel from China right after the Communist country announced it would be easing travel restrictions in the New Year.



He warned that Chinese President Xi Jinping has a plot to infect the world and spread a new COVID-19 variant after ‘the whole world has been through hell.’



China, which has the most stringent COVID-19 restrictions still in place, announced last month that it would start allowing travel out of and into the country following three years of ‘zero COVID’ policies.



Several countries, including the U.S., immediately said Chinese travelers would be required to test negative for coronavirus before boarding flights.



‘It sounds like we might have as many as 1 million Chinese people infected. Fifty percent of their population traveling,’ Pompeo told Cats Roundtable host John Catsimatidis in a Sunday interview.

New Data Proves COVID to be Even LESS DEADLY Than They’ve Been Telling Us

In a recently published scientific research paper, the authors analyzed the infection fatality rate of COVID-19 in the pre-vaccine era. Their findings were that the virus is even less deadly than we’ve been told up until this point.



The paper notes that “the largest burden of COVID-19 is carried by the elderly, and persons living in nursing homes are particularly vulnerable,” while pointing out that “94% of the global population is younger than 70 years and 86% is younger than 60 years.”



Their goal was to estimate how deadly the virus actually is for non-elderly individuals “in the absence of vaccination or prior infection.”



According to the paper, “the current analysis suggests a much lower pre-vaccination IFR in non-elderly populations than previously suggested.”



Their data showed that pre-vaccination numbers were:



0.0003% at 0–19 years



0.002% at 20–29 years



0.011% at 30–39 years



0.035% at 40–49 years



0.123% at 50–59 years



0.506% at 60–69 years



0.034% for all people aged 0–59 years



.095% for those aged 0–69 years.



These numbers are far lower than those previously offered by mainstream science who, back in 2020, used their false IFR data to forecast a “deadly global pandemic.”



Leftists in the scientific community and power-hungry politicians then used this narrative to force the masses into years long lockdowns and, later, experimental injections.







One scientific model which misled the public on the true dangers of the virus was that used by Neil Ferguson, PhD of Imperial College. The Imperial College models projected millions of deaths in the first year in the UK, if stringent lockdowns were not implemented. After they were put into effect, Ferguson and Imperial college then quickly took credit for the “success” of lockdowns.



Ferguson’s team at Imperial College in London has claimed credit for saving millions of lives through the lockdown policies that implemented his models. Other models and real world data have discredited Ferguson’s models, but the damage was done.



Ferguson has a history of being completely wrong with his forecasting models, making it even more bizarre that the world chose to buy into his projections so heavily.



Ferguson predicted that up to 150 million people could be killed from bird flu during the 2005 outbreak. This prediction was off by an incredible amount, with a grand total of 282 people dying worldwide from the disease between 2003 and 2009.



Again, in 2009, one of Ferguson’s models predicted 65,000 people could die from the Swine Flu outbreak in the UK — the final figure was below 500.



This modeling was what caused so many public health officials to panic, and create a world-wide panic of officials and the populace.

WSJ asks: “Are vaccines fueling new covid variants?”

(Natural News) There is another new covid “variant” (or so we are told) that is spreading across the Northeast. And The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) admits that covid “vaccines” are making people more susceptible to it.



XBB, as they are calling this latest variant, is not necessarily any deadlier than previous variants. It is also a lot different, we are told, than previous variants in that it evades “protection” from the injections.



“Growing evidence also suggests that repeated vaccinations may make people more susceptible to XBB and could be fueling the virus’s rapid evolution,” writes Allysia Finley, admitting what many of us have known for years now.



XBB supposedly belongs to the Omicron (anagram for Moronic) family of variants, which comes with “numerous descendants,” according to Finley, “many of which have popped up in different regions of the world curiously bearing some of the same mutations.”



A study published on December 19 explains that the rapid and simultaneous emergence of all these variants possessing “enormous growth advantages is unprecedented.” The reason, we now know, is the jabs.



“Under selective evolutionary pressures, the virus appears to have developed mutations that enable it to transmit more easily and escape antibodies elicited by vaccines and prior infection,” Finley clarifies. Pre-print study says covid bivalent “booster” jab responsible for spreading new variants

Another study currently in pre-print contains similar revelations. This one looked at the so-called bivalent “booster” jab for covid, which authorities are pushing on the masses as the solution to all the new variants.

Workers at the Cleveland Clinic were used to assess the efficacy of bivalent boosters, which were found to provide “modest protection.” The key sentence in that study, though, is one specifying that “the virus strains dominant in the community were those represented in the vaccine.”



This would seem to suggest that the variants supposedly covered by bivalent boosters at any given time just so happen to be the very same ones that continue to spread like wildfire, particularly among the “fully vaccinated.”



In Finley’s article, it is further admitted that covid “vaccines” provide poor and inadequate protection against new “strains” of the virus that come along.



As opposed to natural immunity, which is generalized, jab “immunity” is strain-specific (or so we are told), meaning when new strains come along there is no available protection against them.



“Bivalent vaccines that target the Wuhan and BA.5 variants (or breakthrough infections with the latter) prompt the immune system to produce antibodies that target viral regions the two strains have in common,” Finley writes.



“XBB has evolved to elude antibodies induced by the vaccines and breakthrough infections.”



This “immune imprinting” caused by the injections, as they are calling it, was also addressed in a New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) study published last month. That one, along with another one published this month in Cell, both show that those who get injected are only protected against older strains of the virus because their immune systems were imprinted, aka damaged, to not generally recognize all mutations of viral invaders.



“A bivalent booster only slightly increased antibodies against XBB,” Finley writes. “Experts nevertheless claim that boosters improve protection against XBB. That’s disinformation, to use their favored term.”



“It might not be a coincidence that XBB surged this fall in Singapore, which has among the highest vaccination and booster rates in the world. Over the past several weeks a XBB strain has become predominant in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts, making up about three-quarters of virus samples that have been genetically sequenced.”

Zero COVID Ends But Zero Sense Continues

China decided to finally drop its disastrous draconian zero-Covid policies. In response, major Western news outlets have revealed how completely and absolutely nonsensical their coverage of the pandemic in China has been from the very beginning.


A front-page article in The New York Times from December 30, 2022, is a perfect example. The title: “How Bad is China’s Covid Outbreak? It’s a Scientific Guessing Game” seemingly makes sense. As the subhead explains, there is an “absence of credible information from the Chinese government,” so it’s difficult to figure out what’s actually going on.



The rest of the article belies the notion that anything resembling sense has informed the reporters and editors at this once venerable newspaper of record.



Let’s look at the claims in the article, starting with the first paragraph:



As Covid barrels through China, scientists around the world are searching for clues about an outbreak with sprawling consequences – for the health of hundreds of millions of Chinese people, the global economy and the future of the pandemic.



Here are the unproven – and, according to the headline and subhead of this article unprovable, – assumptions underlying these claims:



1) Covid is barreling through China. Says who? If there is no reliable data coming out of the country, how do we know there’s any barreling going on? The word “barrels” is linked to a New York Times article about the confusion and chaos following the end of zero Covid policies. No proof of barreling.

Even if there are hundreds of millions of Covid cases in China, we know that the overall Covid mortality rate is extremely low in all except the elderly and infirm, and as Western media (including the NYT) reported ad nauseum in 2020, China built lots of extra capacity, so no reason to imagine its hospitals will be overrun.

The overarching assumption in this paragraph, and in the entire article, is that there is a fundamental “absence of credible information from the Chinese government.” Again, this assumption makes sense, given what we know about the Chinese government’s manipulation of information to serve its various agendas. It means that whatever China’s leaders say about the pandemic in their country is not credible.



Yet just a few paragraphs down, the article makes these astonishing claims:



Until this month, the world seemed to have a reasonably clear understanding of what was happening with the virus in China. The ruling Communist Party proudly published low daily case numbers and deaths as a testament to its stringent ‘zero Covid’ policy. A countrywide system of lockdowns, quarantines and mass testing largely kept the virus at bay.



But in early December, the government abruptly abandoned ‘zero Covid,’ leaving the scientific community largely in the dark.



Wait, what?



When they were pursuing the clearly unattainable, unscientific and incredibly destructive zero Covid policies, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was completely credible, and all the data they published was 100 percent reliable?

‘A hell of a variant’: Ultra fast-spreading strain could shake Israel’s COVID calm

XBB.1.5 strain is dominant in the US after cases doubled in just a week, and could quickly start circulating in Israel; on plus side, variant-bolstered vaccines expected to help

COVID-19 experts around the world are watching with concern as the XBB.1.5 subvariant spreads like wildfire in the United States.



There aren’t yet confirmed cases in Israel. But some 41 percent of American cases are now categorized as XBB.1.5, doubling the number of diagnoses in just a week, making the strain dominant. And so, with significant travel between the US and Israel, it’s expected to only be a matter of time until it arrives in the Holy Land.



If it does, it could shake the relative COVID calm the country is enjoying now, with around 1,000 new confirmed cases per day, and falling deaths and serious cases.



Nothing like XBB.1.5 has been seen since late 2021, according to immunologist Dr. Yariv Wine of Tel Aviv University.



“It seems to be faster spreading than any other variant since Omicron emerged in November 2021 and then spread fast in early 2022,” Wine commented. “Virologists are calling it ‘a hell of a variant’ because it’s so transmissible.”


Dr. Eric Feigl-Ding, an epidemiologist and chief of the COVID Risk Task Force at the New England Complex Systems Institute, has called XBB1.5 a “super variant.”


XBB.1.5, which is mutated from the original Omicron strain, appears to be spreading faster than others because it is better at attaching itself to human cells.



“A mutation in the virus is located at the site where it binds to the human cells,” said Wine. “To effectively infect humans, the virus needs to bind to cells, and XBB.1.5 seems to do this very tightly.”



However, he said that its ability to spread may be exaggerated by the latest statistics from the US, as they follow a season of Christmas gatherings and parties during which social contact is higher than normal.


There are no indications that the variant is more severe than others, or that it involves different symptoms, Wine said, adding: “We actually have the tool kit to deal with this, in the form of bivalent vaccines.”



These are the vaccines that have been tweaked to respond better to later variants, which are available in many countries, including Israel.



The New England Journal of Medicine recently published a research letter, concluding that compared to people who received regular vaccines, “persons who received the BA.5-containing bivalent booster had better neutralizing activity against all Omicron subvariants.”



Wine said: “There are indications that the bivalent booster gives better protection against all Omicron subvariants. And while we don’t know yet how well it does against the latest variant, from what we know so far there is no reason to think it will be different.”



Vaccines aren’t expected to halt infection, but are expected to limit severity.



“As such, if vulnerable people are not boosted in the last four plus months they are recommended to get the bivalent booster,” said Wine. “This can reduce the number of severe cases.”
