Why are the so many STUPID people today?

Seriously, I cannot take the stupid that has overcome the world - it's worse than the ridiculous plandemic that has people cowering in fear over a virus that at latest report has an overall lethality of about 0.1%. (Although admittedly, the piles of bodies in the streets and the carts with drivers calling, "Bring out your dead!" are rather frightening. ) People are rioting and trying to erase history, idiots offended over the most asinine things.... Oh no, Elmer Fudd has a gun - Oh, the horror!
Why is this happening, and why now? Scripture gives us the answer:
"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" - 2 Thes. 2:10-11
The Greek word for "delusion" is planē, which is defined as "mental straying; error, wrong opinion relative to morals or religion; error which shows itself in action, a wrong mode of acting; error, that which leads into error, deceit or fraud.
"For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?"- 1 Cor. 1:19-20
The Greek for "made foolish" is mōrainō, which is defined as "figuratively, to make (passively, act) as a simpleton." It's the root from which we get the English word "moron."
So, in a nutshell, in these Last Days all the lefties and unbelievers who refuse to love God's truth have been "moroned" - turned into fools/morons/simpletons by God Himself.
