We are told that there have been more than 121,000 COVID-19 deaths in the U.S.A. But is that true? Not by any means is it true.

We are told that there have been more than 121,000 COVID-19 deaths in the U.S.A. But is that true? Not by any means is it true.





Before we even try to get to the numbers, let’s look at what the Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health recently said. Now, pay strict attention to this because it is telling:



I just want to be clear in terms of the definition of people dying of COVID. So, the case definition is very simplistic. It means that at the time of death it was a COVID-positive diagnosis. So that means if you were in hospice and had already been given, you know, a few weeks to live and then you were also found to have COVID, that would be counted as a COVID death. It means that if, technically, even if you died of a clear alternate cause but you had COVID at the same time it’s still listed as a COVID death. So, everyone that’s listed as a COVID death doesn’t mean that that was the cause of the death, but they had COVID at the time of death.



In other words, the numbers we are hearing do not mean that 121,000 people were actually killed by the coronavirus.

So, why are they so purposefully inflating these numbers?

We also know that some doctors have complained about being pressured to list COVID-19 as a cause of death, perhaps because the CARES Act provides a 20% Medicare bonus for COVID patients. And most recorded COVID-19 fatalities are elderly people with one or more co-morbidities.



You got it. They get more money if they inflate the COVID-19 death statistics.

Our crazed reaction to COVID-19 does not inspire confidence that we would be able to deal rationally with a truly lethal virus.





That’s right. The whole thing is all lies aimed at getting money for the medical establishment and power for the politicians.



It is a massive hoax aimed at defrauding us all.

Test for Past Infection (Antibody Test)

Antibody tests check your blood by looking for antibodies, which may tell you if you had a past infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. Antibodies are proteins that help fight off infections and can provide protection against getting that disease again (immunity). Antibodies are disease specific. For example, measles antibodies will protect you from getting measles if you are exposed to it again, but they won’t protect you from getting mumps if you are exposed to mumps.



Except in instances in which viral testing is delayed, antibody tests should not be used to diagnose a current COVID-19 infection. An antibody test may not show if you have a current COVID-19 infection because it can take 1–3 weeks after infection for your body to make antibodies. To see if you are currently infected, you need a viral test. Viral tests identify the virus in samples from your respiratory system, such as a swab from the inside of your nose.



If you test positive or negative for COVID-19 on a viral or an antibody test, you still should take preventive measures to protect yourself and others.



We do not know yet if people who recover from COVID-19 can get infected again. Scientists are working to understand this.

Antibody tests for COVID-19 are available through healthcare providers and laboratories. Check with your healthcare provider to see if they offer antibody tests and whether you should get one.



What do your results mean?

If you test positive

A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.


Having antibodies to the virus that causes COVID-19 may provide protection from getting infected with the virus again. If it does, we do not know how much protection the antibodies may provide or how long this protection may last.

Talk with your healthcare provider about your test result and the type of test you took to understand what your result means. Your provider may suggest you take a second type of antibody test to see if the first test was accurate.

You should continue to protect yourself and others since you could get infected with the virus again.

If you work in a job where you wear personal protective equipment (PPE), continue wearing PPE.

You may test positive for antibodies even if you have never had symptoms of COVID-19. This can happen if you had an infection without symptoms, which is called an asymptomatic infection.

If you test negative

You may not have ever had COVID-19. Talk with your healthcare provider about your test result and the type of test you took to understand what your result means.

You could still have a current infection.

The test may be negative because it typically takes 1–3 weeks after infection for your body to make antibodies. It’s possible you could still get sick if you have been exposed to the virus recently. This means you could still spread the virus.

Some people may take even longer to develop antibodies, and some people who are infected may not ever develop antibodies.

If you get symptoms after the antibody test, you might need another test called a viral test​.



Regardless of whether you test positive or negative, the results do not confirm whether or not you are able to spread the virus that causes COVID-19. Until we know more, continue to take steps to protect yourself and others.

HUGE: The Coronavirus Tracking Project’s Numbers are Suspect After They Are Caught Tacking On Previous Deaths to Current Totals

Twitter user Kyle Lamb put together a chart showing the number of deaths reported by the Coronavirus Tracking Project linked to the China coronavirus.

The results of his work show that the CTP is adding deaths each week from prior periods that make the current period death totals appear greater than they really are and some of these additions are very suspect.

The number of deaths reported publicly come from the Covid Tracking Project.

Kyle Lamb created a chart using data from the CDC that shows the number of COVID-19 deaths reported by the CDC and the weeks the death occurred. In the chart below he shows the total number of deaths from COVID-19 reported by the CDC in the top row in grey. These totals change as each week passes with new deaths being reported per week as is expected.

In a typical mortality table you should see a few deaths being reported in week one and many more in the following few weeks but then the number of deaths reported that occurred during a specific week decrease as time goes by. After a few weeks this lag in reporting diminishes and eventually all deaths are reported. This is typical in the insurance industry where the industry accounts for deaths being reported on a consistent rate over time with very few claims reported after a few months from the date of event (i.e. the date someone died). This may seem morbid to those not in the insurance industry but this is how it is done. Rarely are there jumps in reporting in prior periods unless something odd is going on (e.g. fraud).



What Kyle Lamb shows in his analysis is that the CDC is reporting deaths on a weekly basis. Many of the deaths are reported in the first few weeks after the death occurred (see cells in red, orange and yellow).

California doctors say they've seen more deaths from suicide than coronavirus since lockdowns

Doctors in Northern California say they have seen more deaths from suicide than they’ve seen from the coronavirus during the pandemic.



“The numbers are unprecedented,” Dr. Michael deBoisblanc of John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California, told ABC 7 News about the increase of deaths by suicide, adding that he’s seen a “year’s worth of suicides” in the last four weeks alone.



DeBoisblanc said he believes it’s time for California officials to end the stay-at-home order and let people back out into their communities.



"Personally, I think it's time," he said. "I think, originally, this was put in place to flatten the curve and to make sure hospitals have the resources to take care of COVID patients. We have the current resources to do that, and our other community health is suffering."



Kacey Hansen, a trauma center nurse at John Muir Medical Center for more than 30 years, says she’s worried not only about the increased suicide attempts but also about the hospital’s ability to save as many patients as usual.



"What I have seen recently, I have never seen before," Hansen said. "I have never seen so much intentional injury."



Businesses across California have started defying stay-at-home orders imposed by Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, and hundreds of protesters have hit the streets, making the argument that the orders were only meant to flatten the curve of the virus’s spread, which Newsom himself said was achieved in mid-April.



Suicide has been an increasingly significant problem across the country as the coronavirus outbreak caused stay-at-home orders that led to unemployment and stress.



By late March, more people had died in just one Tennessee county from suicide than had died in the entire state directly from the virus.



A study published in early May suggested that the coronavirus could lead to at least 75,000 deaths directly brought on by anxiety from the virus, job losses, and addiction to alcohol and drugs.



Another study conducted by Just Facts around the same time computed a broad array of scientific data showing that stress is one of the deadliest health hazards in the world and estimated that the coronavirus lockdowns will destroy 7 times as many years of human life than strict lockdowns can save.



Earlier this week, more than 600 doctors signed their names on a letter to President Trump, referring to the continued lockdowns as a “mass casualty incident” and urging him to do what he can to ensure they come to an end.

Amid the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic, The Business Roundtable (BRT) called on Friday for every company to require employee and customer masks.



“One of the most effective things we can all do to protect public health and the economy is to wear face coverings in public settings, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain,” BRT said in their statement, published Friday.



The group cited, “rising infection rates around the country … putting public health and our economy at grave risk,” and stressed that “failure to bring the pandemic under control will have devastating, long-term consequences for millions of Americans.”



“Business Roundtable applauds the many companies that are protecting their employees and customers by mandating the use of face coverings indoors consistent with CDC guidelines,” they said. “We encourage every company to adopt this practice and hope that all Americans will adopt the use of face coverings to protect their families, friends, neighbors, and our economy.”



BRT membership includes Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, American Airlines CEO Doug Parker, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins, General Motors CEO Mary Barra, and Marriott CEO Arne Sorenson.



The statement follows an announcement by Walmart CEO — and BRT chairman — Doug McMillon, requiring personal protective equipment (PPE) be worn by all customers and employees on the premises of all U.S. Walmart locations, regardless of state guidance. Companies that already mandate masks in all national locations include Apple, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Costco, and Panera Bread.



“We encourage every company to adopt this practice and hope that all Americans will adopt the use of face coverings to protect their families, friends, neighbors, and our economy,” BRT said.

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky -- A Kentucky couple is under house arrest after one of them tested positive for coronavirus and refused to sign self-quarantine papers.



Elizabeth Linscott got tested for COVID-19 because she was planning to go visit her parents.



"My grandparents wanted to see me, too, so, just to make sure that, you know, if I tested negative, that they would be okay, everything would be fine," Linscott said.



After testing positive but without showing any symptoms, Linscott said the health department contacted her, requesting she sign documents.



"I agreed to comply to call the Health Department if I was to go. I was to call the Health Department if I was to leave my house for any reason," she said.



But, she chose not to sign.



"I had gotten a message from them, a text message that stated, because of your refusal to sign, this is going to be escalated, and law enforcement will be involved," she said.



Later that week, the county sheriff greeted Linscott's husband, Isaiah, at their front door.



"I open up the door, and there's like eight different people, five different cars, and I'm like 'what the heck's going on?' This guy's in a suit with a mask. It's the Health Department guy, and they have three papers for us. For me, her and my daughter," he said.



The couple was ordered to wear ankle monitors. If they travel more than 200 feet, law enforcement will be notified.

Shockingly, according to Forbes, “$2.2 billion” went “to the Centers for Disease Control, which has been at the forefront of the U.S. response to the virus, but has come under criticism for errors that limited how many people can get tested for Covid-19.”



Additionally, $7 billion in business loans were dived out along with millions of dollars in vaccine development and research aid.

(Natural News) All day every day, the mainstream media continues to hammer home fear about the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), which supposedly is “spiking” all around the country. But according to new evidence, there are so many false positives being “mistakenly” reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by health officials that nobody can really say for sure what is actually true.



What we do know, at the very least, is that the number of new cases is drastically overinflated, not to mention that nobody in any position of authority can clarify what a “case” actually entails. Does a “case” mean a person is sick and showing symptoms, or does it merely mean that a person tested positive, with a possible false result?



As we saw in Florida, upwards of 100 percent of so-called “positive cases” may actually be negative cases due to faulty testing protocols and mishandling of lab results. Consequently, the plandemic may not be anything close to what certain factions are claiming it is.



Because of this plethora of problems, the Trump administration has created new guidelines for testing that require all hospitals and testing centers to bypass the CDC entirely. Instead, Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) data will now go directly to a central database in Washington, D.C., where it will be handled by other entities.



There is also a prolific problem of positive antibody tests being lumped in with viral tests for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), which is seriously skewing our country’s positivity rate.



“Health officials from numerous states have mistakenly included positive results from antibody tests when reporting new COVID-19 cases to the CDC, grossly inflating new cases,” wrote Fox News contributor and physician Nicole Saphier in a tweet. Doing this, she further explained, is the “scientific equivalent to ‘double-dipping.’”



A positive antibody test for coronavirus typically only means that a person had a cold at one point in time

The problem with the antibody test specifically is that a positive result is practically meaningless, as all it shows is that a person at one point in time was infected with a virus from the same coronavirus family that causes the common cold. In other words, it is a false alarm and bad science, though this is what the lockdown-pushing, mask-promoting Left considers to be the “facts.”



The Trump administration says that inside sources have confirmed that the CDC is actively fudging the numbers, either by double-dipping or by reporting false positives. In some cases, people who are not even being tested are somehow receiving positive test results for tests they never took.



Evidence has also emerged to suggest that the CDC, at one point, was taking up to seven weeks to compile data and statistics on the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), and only under pressure started to report them all at once with a multi-week lag. This would explain the sudden “surge” that the mainstream media claims is taking place, but that the vast majority of everyday folks are unable to discern or observe anywhere around them in real life.



“So HHS took over data reporting from CDC,” tweeted Emerald Robinson, who broke the news about the CDC’s deception. “HHS is able to compile & report this data daily.”



Robinson further claims that she is getting flooded with messages from folks who claim that they signed up for a Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) test, went to a testing site, but left early because of long lines. These same people were later notified, simply because their information from the sign-up went into a database that they had “tested positive.”



“Despite not taking the test, they get notified later that they’ve tested positive,” she further tweeted, citing examples in Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida, among others.

Concerns arise as some receive positive COVID-19 results but never got tested




SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Coronavirus continues to spread quickly across the state. Plus, now, on the Suncoast, although testing has been made more available, many say there are some problems in really getting a handle on how much the virus is in our community.

It has nothing to do with being able to get tested, but instead the results. The quickest turnaround is about 48 hours, and the majority of the time, it can take about a week of finding out if you’re infected our not. However, the most recent issue is getting back results that aren’t even yours.



“I got a call asking for me, and they told me that I had tested positive. I was like, ‘Positive for what?” Then, the lady said for COVID, and I said, ‘That’s impossible. I never got tested, Ma’am,’” Mindy Clark said.



Clark had gone to the drive thru testing sight at Manatee Rural Health, but before she was able to get swabbed, she left the line because she realized it was for people with symptoms only.



“I told them they needed to take this off my record, and they said I had to prove it to them that I wasn’t positive,” Clark continued.



She tested negative just two days later, and also tested negative for the antibodies. Plus, according to many of our viewers, this hasn’t only happened to her.



Clark says if she and many others have been incorrectly identified as positive in the state’s system so easily, how accurate are the numbers that are released daily?





“This is part of the testing mechanism problem. People are sitting in their cars, sometimes for hours, or standing in line, six feet apart sometimes for hours. You’re registered though, you’re number 15 in line, and you are Jay Wolfson. If Jay Wolfson says he can’t wait any longer and he leaves, it will get number 15 and now get Rebecca Fernandez, who was standing behind him, and she tests positive, and then everyone from then on gets the wrong results. There has to be a better way to do this,” explained Dr. Jay Wolfson, Public Health & Medicine Professor for the University of South Florida.



While all this is happening, the virus continues to spread since the right people are not identified.



“It’s such a bad time. These last five months have been so bad. People don’t need these added mistakes. Everyone is already so nervous and trying so hard, and these mistakes are really causing more anxiety in people,” Clark expressed.



“The trust is real, but the disease is more real. Trust the fact that the disease is real. The data may be confusing, the state has to clean up their act, but the disease is real and very concerning. Protect yourself. Be safe out there. Be safe and be well,” said Dr. Jay Wolfson.



If you’ve received a test result, but were never actually tested for COVID-19, be sure to call the Florida Department of Health and get it sorted out. Making sure those results are removed from your health record and the COVID-19 database.

Vaccine oligarch Bill Gates expressed apathy in a CBS interview about the fact that his Moderna Coronavirus vaccine, which National Institutes of Health (NIH) has a financial stake in, is testing horribly in vaccine trials, with at least 80 percent of trial subjects reportedly suffering side effects. Vaccine developer says people must wear masks and socially distance even after vaccine is available

A vaccine developer at the Baylor College of Medicine told Business Insider that people should not expect an immediate return to normal life once a vaccine is available.

Several companies are working as quickly as possible to develop a safe and effective vaccine, which has been viewed by some as necessary for lockdowns to end and schools to reopen. While a vaccine may significantly reduce the risk of serious disease from the novel coronavirus, social distancing and face masks may still be a part of life, said vaccine developer Maria Elena Bottazzi.



"They automatically are going to say, 'oh great, I'm just going to get my little vaccine, and I can go back and do exactly the things I was doing last year,'" Bottazzi told Business Insider. "That is absolutely not true."



Ideally, Bottazzi said, a vaccine would give sterilizing immunity, meaning it would totally prevent people from becoming infected. Many vaccines don't reach that level of effectiveness, however, and only reduce the chance of developing severe symptoms of a particular disease.



Vaccines improve over time, which means the first version of the COVID-19 vaccine that is made available to the public might not be 100% effective. In fact, Moderna's vaccine, which is entering phase 3 of trials, is aiming to demonstrate 60% effectiveness.



Moderna CEO Stephanie Bancel said that if the vaccine reaches 90% effectiveness, then people can safely stop wearing masks — unless they have high-risk health conditions, in which case they may need to continue wearing them. Bancel said the company hopes to know more about their vaccine's efficacy as early as October or as late as December.



For comparison, the 2019-2020 flu vaccine is only about 45% effective against the seasonal flu and typically ranges between 40% and 60% effectiveness every year. A vaccine was never successfully developed for the SARS coronavirus in 2002, and eventually demand for such a vaccine went away, as the virus ran its course and mostly disappeared without spreading nearly as widely as COVID-19 has.



In summary, the masks could be here to stay through the end of 2020, and potentially even longer depending on how successful the COVID-19 vaccines are.



"The moment you get a vaccine doesn't mean you're going to put your mask in the trash," Bottazzi told Business Insider. "That is not going to happen. I hope people don't think that is going to be the magic solution for all."

Virus vaccine put to final test in thousands of volunteers

FROM THE AP: The world’s biggest COVID-19 vaccine study got underway Monday with the first of 30,000 planned volunteers helping to test shots created by the U.S. government — one of several candidates in the final stretch of the global vaccine race.



There’s still no guarantee that the experimental vaccine, developed by the National Institutes of Health and Moderna Inc., will really protect.



The needed proof: Volunteers won’t know if they’re getting the real shot or a dummy version. After two doses, scientists will closely track which group experiences more infections as they go about their daily routines, especially in areas where the virus still is spreading unchecked.



“Unfortunately for the United States of America, we have plenty of infections right now” to get that answer, NIH’s Dr. Anthony Fauci recently told The Associated Press. Moderna said the vaccination was done in Savannah, Georgia, the first site to get underway among more than seven dozen trial sites scattered around the country.

That’s a stunning number of people needed to roll up their sleeves for science. But in recent weeks, more than 150,000 Americans filled out an online registry signaling interest, said Dr. Larry Corey, a virologist with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Institute in Seattle, who helps oversee the study sites.



“These trials need to be multigenerational, they need to be multiethnic, they need to reflect the diversity of the United States population,” Corey told a vaccine meeting last week. Anyone who can’t see through this facade yet may never be able to wake up to what’s going on. This is about control of the entire planet, and to think otherwise or assume some politician will save you is ludicrous at this point. According to Axios, the end of this global pandemic almost certainly rests with a vaccine. That same article is hypocritically titled: It’s not over when the vaccine arrives.



This will not end until we end it and stop acquiescing to power. A Joe Biden presidency won’t end this, and neither will a Trump reelection – if there’s an election at all. (As if votes matter anyway. The puppets are chosen by the international banking cartel hellbent on owning us all.) In that same Axios article, they write: “Experts” caution that it’s important to have realistic expectations about how much the first vaccines across the finish line will — and won’t — be able to accomplish.



“It’s hard to make vaccines against coronaviruses,” said Mark Poznansky, an infectious-disease specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital. “It doesn’t mean it’s not possible but it is a challenge, especially with COVID-19, where we don’t yet understand the inflammatory response to the virus and what part of the immune response is critical to prevent infection.”



The public largely distrusts vaccines right now too. From the beginning, this looked like an excuse to vaccinate the planet with DNA altering nanobots that can be controlled by the ruling class. Conspiracy theory? You be the judge. But the push for this vaccine comes at an uncanny time when the banksters want the world to go to a digital dollar so they can literally control every aspect of your life, down to the money you will or will not be allowed to have and spend.



None of this is being done for your own good, and no politician is in any position to save you. Those that try, will not be around to do so. The only way out of this is to wake up, stop giving your power to the tyrants in charge, and be the free human being you were born to be. Medical Journal Suggests Loss of Employment for Any Person Who Refuses to Take COVID-19 Vaccine

The Orwellian nightmare is really starting to take shape due to the pandemic.

An article in the New England Journal of Medicine has suggested that “substantive penalties” be used to enforce compliance in taking the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine, including loss of employment.



The journal published an article on June 26 titled, “Ensuring Uptake of Vaccines against SARS-CoV-2.” They suggested that the suspension of employment would be a less coercive manner of enforcing vaccine compliance than fines or other criminal penalties.



The report states that “state mandates should not be structured as compulsory vaccination (absolute requirements); instead, noncompliance should incur a penalty.”

“Nevertheless, because of the infectiousness and dangerousness of the virus, relatively substantive penalties could be justified, including employment suspension or stay-at-home orders for persons in designated high-priority groups who refuse vaccination. Neither fines nor criminal penalties should be used, however; fines disadvantage the poor, and criminal penalties invite legal challenges on procedural due-process grounds. Both are bad public health policy for a Covid-19 vaccine because they may stoke distrust without improving uptake,” the report continues.



The authors of the report are particularly perturbed that fewer than half of Americans plan to get the COVID-19 inoculation when it is available. They are focused on public policy proposal that would coerce more Americans into getting stuck with the shot.



“As with social distancing orders, we can expect that the advent of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines will spark intense clashes of feeling about what people owe to one another in the fight against the pandemic. In contrast to earlier phases of the pandemic, though, we currently have some time on our side. Careful deliberation now about state vaccination policy can help ensure that we have a strategy when the breakthrough comes,” the report states.



Big League Politics has reported on the mad frenzy to create a COVID-19 vaccine for mass consumption as quickly as possible to capitalize on the mass hysteria:



President Donald Trump has launched “Operation Warp Speed” to funnel resources toward Big Pharma for the purposes of creating a vaccine shot that will be ready for mass distribution throughout the country by the end of the year.



The White House is calling this a Manhattan Project-style project that aims to get vaccines into as many people as quickly as possible, in a move that must have technocratic oligarch Bill Gates grinning ear-to-ear.



“Operation Warp Speed is clearly another extension of President Trump’s bold leadership and unwillingness to accept ‘business as usual’ approaches to addressing the COVID-19 crisis,” said Michael Caputo, who works as assistant secretary for public affairs at the Department of Health and Human Services.



The project is expected to cost the U.S. taxpayer billions of dollars, with much of that money going into the coffers of Big Pharma, and they hope to have 100 million doses ready by the end of the year. It is unclear if these vaccines would even improve the public health, as the government’s own data shows that regular influenza vaccines are only effective 40 percent of the time.



The Trump administration is working along with disgraced globalist organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) in using the coronavirus pandemic for a vaccine push.



“We are scientists, physicians, funders and manufacturers who have come together as part of an international collaboration, coordinated by the World Health Organization (WHO), to help speed the availability of a vaccine against COVID-19,” dozens of so-called experts declared in a WHO press release.



“While a vaccine for general use takes time to develop, a vaccine may ultimately be instrumental in controlling this worldwide pandemic… We will continue efforts to strengthen the unprecedented worldwide collaboration, cooperation and sharing of data already underway. We believe these efforts will help reduce inefficiencies and duplication of effort, and we will work tenaciously to increase the likelihood that one or more safe and effective vaccines will soon be made available to all,” they added.



COVID-19 is being used as an excuse to justify all kinds of Big Brother overreach as power-grabbing bureaucrats and scientists are not about to let this crisis go to waste.

Government officials are reporting a huge uptick in overdose deaths due to the isolation and despair caused by the prolonged COVID-19 societal lockdown.



An official with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office says that the problem is worse than he has ever seen, with far more people turning to drugs throughout the pandemic.



“I think it’s an issue and it’s something that we are pulling out the stops and utilizing our people and our resources to try to combat,” Maj. John Budensiek said.

Maj. Budensiek’s office is trying to choke off of the supply so desperate individuals do not have the option to destroy their lives with dope during the pandemic, but it is an uphill battle.



“We know we’re in the middle of a pandemic. People are depressed, people are probably turning to drug and alcohol abuse and use more than they would before,” he said.



The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reports that the county has seen 138 overdoses and 28 drug overdose deaths this year so far. At this point in 2019, there were 90 drug overdoses and 14 drug overdose deaths. This is a 65 percent increase in overdoses and a 100 percent increase in overdose deaths year over year.



It is not just in Florida where overdoses are spiking. The American Medical Association released an issue brief earlier this month reporting that 35 states are reporting an increase in opioid-related deaths during a time in which usage rates were already near record highs.



“The AMA is greatly concerned by an increasing number of reports from national, state and local media suggesting increases in opioid-related mortality—particularly from illicitly manufactured fentanyl and fentanyl analogs. More than 35 states have reported increases in opioid-related mortality as well as ongoing concerns for those with a mental illness or substance use disorder in counties and other areas within the state,” they wrote in their brief urging state and federal officials to take action to curb this alarming trend.



Caroline Franklin, a clinical therapist at Retreat Behavioral Health in Lake Worth Beach, believes that the anxiety caused by the pandemic mixed with the additional free time is a combination that has many Americans turning to drugs in order to cope.



“I think a lot of this especially right now we are seeing is coming from COVID-19,” Franklin said. “I think the anxiety is increasing which then sometimes turns people towards drugs.”



“A huge portion of people are socially isolated. Whether they were working before or not, an increased amount of depression and anxiety is being seen right now,” she added. “Everyone being home and not having as much interaction with people that they consider their support people, people they care about, can be really detrimental.”



When President Donald Trump said that the cure must not be worse than the disease, this is exactly what he was talking about. The death total caused by the shutdown could be larger than the COVID-19 death total by the time this is all over.

Suicide and drug overdoses are killing more young people than COVID-19 as the two pre-existing epidemics have been exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield warns.



In an interview with the Buck Institute for Research on Aging earlier this month, Redfield laid out that suicide and drug overdose have claimed more young lives during the pandemic than COVID-19, a disease that has been attributed to thousands of deaths nationwide this year.


"We're seeing, sadly, far greater suicides now than we are deaths from COVID,” Redfield explained. “We're seeing far greater deaths from drug overdose that are above the excess that we had as background than we are seeing the deaths from COVID.”



A June survey from The Addiction Policy Forum reported a 20% increase in substance abuse with 34% of respondents experiencing a change in their treatment and recovery due to the pandemic.



The American Medical Association also voiced concern in a July 20 report stating that over 35 states have reported increases in “opioid-related mortality as well as ongoing concerns for those with a mental illness or substance use disorder.”



Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people ages 10 to 34 in the United States, second only to “unintentional injury,” according to the CDC. Suicide took the lives of nearly 15,000 people within that age bracket in 2018, CDC data suggests.



Last year, the public health institute reported that the suicide rate for kids 10 to 14 has nearly tripled in the last decade while the suicide rate among older teenagers has increased by 76%.



In his July 14 interview, Redfield emphasized the absence of schools for the increase in suicides, overdoses and general mental health difficulties faced by young people during the pandemic.



He also said resources to combat these problems have been overworked by COVID-19 or are too dangerous to access.



“You know, a lot of kids get their mental health services, over 7 million, in school,” Redfield explained. “A lot of people get food and nutrition in schools. Schools are really important in terms of mandatory reporting of sexual and child abuse. Obviously, socialization is important.”



Redfield said that the "cost to our nation in continuing to keep these schools closed is substantial."



Susan Tellone, the clinical director at The Society for Prevention of Teen Suicide in New Jersey, told The Christian Post that there is an increased concern surrounding suicide and overdose, most of which has come from virus-induced chronic stress.



All people experience acute stress, which is a short-term feeling that is not always negative, she said. Chronic stress, though, is ongoing stress that lasts months to years and can lead to an increase in mental health issues like depression. The increase in the U.S. is caused in part by widespread chronic stress, Tellone said.



“COVID has put all the country, not just youth, in a state of chronic stress,” she explained. “That’s been across the board. I’ve been saying we’re all in the same storm, but in different boats.”



According to Tellone, people are experiencing stress in different ways. While some are heavily impacted by physical isolation, others feel the stress from financial burdens or loss of work.



For young people, the pandemic has provided a variety of losses.



High school seniors have lost the opportunity to partake in graduation ceremonies and milestones. Social interactions have changed form during the virus, which has become a difficult transition for some.



“Some are stuck in toxic environments where they’re around domestic, substance or sexual abuse,” Tellone stated. “It’s the uncertainty that creates this stress. You can’t make plans or know the future. There’s not an end in sight and it is getting to feel exhausting for some people.”



This is not true for all young people, though. Some young people have enjoyed doing school work from home and have felt less pressure since COVID-19 began, which Tellone defined as a “mixed bag” of reactions toward COVID-19 closures.



Despite the increased demand for mental health resources to combat the increased suicides and overdoses, Tellone said the virus presents an opportunity to end the stigma of talking about mental health. She believes this could lead to further advancements in study and treatment.



“Because we know mental health is going to be an issue, we could all understand that if you don’t have financial means there is still help,” she said. “It’s an opportunity to recognize that mental health is as important as physical health.”

Sometimes with a little pepper-spray baptism. But how are our Ikea-building neighbors to the east handling all this WuFlu cough "pandemic"? Remember, Sweden never shutdown. They didn't even close their cheese-cloth border. To my knowledge, they didn't do the mask debate (say that five times fast). Bars remained open. People gathered and were asked to distance socially, but — again to my knowledge — no black-arm-band wearing public gestapo fined or shamed he, she or ze who failed to obey. The pandemic porn believers were hoping millions of Swedes would kick the verklopen. That's my best attempt at Ikea speech for bucket. Reality is: not really.

The seven-day rolling average of Sweden's daily new cases has been dropping consistently since June 29. Its daily case count has been mostly decreasing since June 24, when it reported 1,803 new infections, its largest single-day spike since the outbreak began, according to data compiled by Worldometer.



The seven-day rolling average of daily new deaths in Sweden has also been declining since around April 15, when it reported a record daily death count of 115. The country's latest seven-day rolling averages for daily new cases and daily new deaths stand at 154 and 2.

As a reminder, new cases aren't deaths. I know the pro-Covid-shutdown-because-its-our-new-religion apostles want to believe that if you're diagnosed with the Chinese Chest Cold you're somehow a goner. Tis not the case, nor has it ever been. You might be a goner if you're morbidly sick already, or old and morbidly sick already, but the survival rate of COVID is higher than Post Malone chatting with Rogan. And in Courtney's esteemed opinion, not worth near the panic clueless morons award it.



Regardless of all that, other countries in Europe that instituted government mandated YOU SHALL OBEY lockdowns are seeing a second wave of cases. This, in Courtney's esteemed opinion, seems to indicate the lockdowns don't work like the lockdown advocates want them to work. Or say they want them to work. Because, again in my opinion, the measures being shoved through in order to "save lives" are just a Trojan horse for socialism.
