Gov't official trying to restrict pastor's speech Liberty Counsel is cautioning a Miami-Dade County school superintendent against using a pastor's sermon about homosexuality as reason to rescind his church's lease. Following Pastor Jack Hakimian's message at Impact Miami Church on the biblical position concerning homosexuality, Superintendent Alberto Carvalho is "reviewing" North Miami Senior High School's lease agreement with the church to determine if it should be revoked. He says the sermons "appear to be contrary to school board policy, as well as the basic principles of humanity." Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel has an issue with that. "It's absolutely unthinkable that a government official believes that he has the opportunity and the authority to restrict someone's speech in a church service on Sunday," he contends. "The school board is a landlord in this case -- and consequently, they can't go into the privacy of the home or the privacy of the church service on Sunday." www.onenewsnow.com/Church/Default.aspx?id=1639494

I can see where this is heading...pretty soon the government will require ALL churches to accept the gay agenda and those who won't will be forced to shut their doors. Those who refuses to do so will be heavily fined/taxed or sent to prison. This is exactly what happened to the church in the Communist countries. The lukewarm wishy-washy churches were allowed to operate while the real Church went underground.
Which could be a good thing...it would effectively separate the wheat from the tares. It would make the church (the TRUE church of course) much stronger and definetly purer (or more pure).
