Air Fryer Breakfast Biscuit Bombs
This air fryer recipes makes quick, on-the-go breakfast bombs that you can enjoy anywhere. Using an air fryer makes it quick and easy and with the parchment in the basket, there is virtually no clean up. These would freeze perfectly too.
Butter (approx. 2-3 tbsp) for cooking eggs and for brushing on the biscuit bombs.
4 large eggs
2 tbsp milk
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp chopped chives or green onions
4 strips bacon or some crumbled cooked sausage (about 4 tbsp worth)
1 tube of refrigerated canned biscuits
3/4 cup shredded cheese (I used cheddar)
1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
Cook and crumble bacon or sausage.
Whisk together eggs and milk.
Heat some butter in a large skillet over medium low heat.
Add egg mixture to pan. Allow eggs to cook until they set slightly. Stir occasionally until soft curds form. Season with salt and pepper and stir in chives or onions.
Set aside.
Flatten biscuit dough rounds until they are about 1/4 inch thick. Place a spoon of egg, some bacon and some cheese on the round. Fold and seal the edges well.
Brush with some melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning if desired.
Line air fryer basket with parchment paper.
Place as many biscuit bombs in the fryer as it will hold without they touching (they will puff up when cooking). My air fryer is a 5.8 quart size and I was able to fit in 4 at a time.
Bake at 375F for about 10 minutes. Check them at the 6-7 minute mark.
Everything bagel seasoning
(You can also find it pre-mixed at many stores including Trader Joe's and Aldi.)
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
2 teaspoons flaked sea salt or coarse salt
