In this video TD Jakes, Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Hillsong, and the Catholic church say Christianity is not the only way and make steps for a one world religion. Here you will see Buddists, Hindus, and American Indian spiritists uniting with Christianity, and Hillsong joining in.

My video isn't working It's just cause i'm at work though...when i get home i'll have to watch this. And I think that people need to keep in mind when watching these videos...most of the time the comments are taken out of context. Joel Osteen has progressed deeper into the word of God as of late. I pray for brother Osteen(because he has a large influence). His website shares the gospel message....the true gospel message. And he said earlier this year in an interview with piers morgan that elton john would go to hell if he didn't believe in Jesus. He hasn't backed off of that point in the last year or so. If people understood Joel(as i've tried to do), they would get that he isn't a theologian or someone that went to some bible college. He studied communications, and he prays and studies god's word. Does he always get it right? No. In the past, he has tried to distance himself from the condemning tone of most ministers. He wants to focus on the positive...but as of late he has stepped up to present the gospel message that Jesus died for our sins. Keep praying for these people...especially brother Osteen. He can help shape the american church into one of grace and love....one that truly shows the gospel message.

I'm watching this video, and it is taking everything out of context. Hillsong NOWHERE said that Jesus isn't the only way. It's dishonest to say they did. Joel Osteen didn't say Jesus isn't the only way either. In fact, he AFFIRMED Jesus as the only way. Can we fault brother Osteen for not knowing about mormonism? If someone claims Jesus as Savior, and believe in the Jesus of the bible...are they not saved the same way we are? Who can judge the individual mormon on whether they trust the Jesus of the bible? I have many mormon friends. Some of them i have no doubt they believe in a false Jesus. It's works salvation....it's a different path. But some of them, i believe are like me...in that they believe in the Jesus of the bible.
Joel isn't very strong when it comes to bible knowledge. He's progressing as a christian...and as a leader though. He's getting more and more into the word. Even in that final statement which is several years old...he affirms Jesus is the only way....except that he doesn't believe that "he" should be judging others. That doesn't mean he doesn't believe. And his more recent statements are much more in line with the bible. I've heard him preach the salvation message. The man is getting better all the time.
Now i'm not gonna defend Rick Warren here. I haven't heard him preach the salvation message before. I've heard it from Joel, i've heard it from Hillsong(AG church). But this video works very hard to take these things out of context.
Regarding the catholic church. Is it wrong for multiple churches to come together? I'm not talking about multiple faiths. I'm saying multiple christian churches? In revelation chapters 2 and 3...it makes it clear that the catholic church is indeed a part of our church. However, they bare much chastizement from Jesus. As one body in Christ, can't we from time to time come together and fellowship? The answer is yes. But we shouldn't take preference in that over the truth. We know that catholics have a lot wrong with their doctrine. Many chatholics are saved, and many are not. I would ask you to walk into a church and find one where everyone is saved. It's not possible. I'm in no way condoning the false docrtine of the catholic church. I'm just saying that we need to use a little better discernment when it comes to these videos. I've watched hundreds of them. And they turned me hard against Joel Osteen. But if you actually listen to him preach the gospel message...he's not wrong. Does he take the 'life more abundantly" out of context? Yes he does. But when he preaches salvation from our sins throught he shed blood of Christ alone...it will make you cry too. The man loves God. He needs our prayers. I would challenge everyone to pray for these leaders and these people to bring their teachings in line with the word.
