Good site, Popcorn! I work in DC ( I am in a building across from the Capitol as we speak!  ) so I see these things every day. If one knows about it, it's blatantly obvious. Like the owl, for instance. They have the owl outlined in red on all the information signs for tourists posted just about everywhere. You can't miss the owl outline. And the Pentagon and Washington Monument is pretty self-evident.  |

I'm getting ready to leave so I'll catch the video tomorrow....I've been inside the Capitol numerous times, it's kind of creepy. It feels like you're in a mausoleum almost.

Correction! The owl is green and outlined in GLARING IN-YOUR- FACE YELLOW, not red like I originally stated... my bad! Sowwy!  But it's still pretty darn obvious it's an owl. I'm going to have to borrow one of my kid's camera so I can take a pic of it and post it here. |
