This will affect my town enormously. There are a whole lot of defense people here (INCLUDING my daughter) who work at the base (Patuxent Naval Air Force Base). Everyone is worried. Please say a prayer for my daughter. We can't afford for her to be laid off. Her husband is out of work (and has been for a while) and she is the sole provider for their family of two adults and 4 children. And they live with me so if they do lay her off guess who will be the one who will have to pick up the slack. And I am just barely hanging in there myself.

Sounds like they're looking for an excuse to start a war...probably before the elections, so jobs will be added rather than more lost.
