Morgan Stanley to only allow vaccinated staff in NYC office

Morgan Stanley is planning to block unvaccinated staff and clients from entering the bank's New York offices if they are not fully vaccinated after the CEO issued a stark warning that employees are expected back after Labor Day.



Employees, clients and visitors will be required to be fully vaccinated in order to access the bank's offices in New York and Westchester.



From July 12, those who don't attest to being fully vaccinated will lose building access, according to an internal memo obtained by the Financial Times.



Those who are not fully vaccinated will need to work remotely.



'Starting July 12 all employees, contingent workforce, clients and visitors will be required to attest to being fully vaccinated to access Morgan Stanley buildings in New York City and Westchester,' the memo, signed by chief human resources officer Mandell Crawley, says.

Bruce Springsteen reopens Broadway with first full-capacity show since pandemic






(CNN) — Broadway isn’t dancing in the dark anymore.







With most of New York’s Covid-19 restrictions lifted, Bruce Springsteen welcomed a packed house to Broadway for the first time since the pandemic shut down theaters in March 2020.







Saturday night, “Springsteen on Broadway” returned to St. James Theatre, the first theater to reopen its doors in April for a pilot program designed to create a model for other Broadway theaters to reopen safely.







While the theater is now allowing full-capacity, audience members ages 16 or older have to prove they are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter. Those under 16 or who needed “reasonable accommodations due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief” have to prove they’ve tested negative for Covid-19 and must wear a mask.

KISS STAR Gene Simmons has warned fans they must be vaccinated to come and see the band's End of the Road Tour: "I don't care if you think the Earth is flat." Simmons also claimed that the four members of the band are more famous than the US presidents on Mount Rushmore.

The two founding members of KISS have been on a media blitz over the past few weeks. Simmons and Paul Stanley have given major new interviews promoting the band's farewell world tour, which kicks of on August 18 in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Before that, they will play at the Festival de Nîmes in France on July 6. As well as the usual bombast about his and the band's extraordinary achievements, Simmons also had a stark warning for fans that they would not be admitted to shows if they were not vaccinated against the coronavirus.


He said: "We were four knuckleheads (You still are!)off the streets of New York who weren’t qualified to do anything. We created what is arguably the most recognised four faces on Planet Earth. (Deluded much?) 


"You may not be able to tell us who is on Mount Rushmore. Some people have said Elvis. Nope. You may not be able to tell us who the king and queen of Sweden is but everyone in Sweden knows who KISS is."


KISS: Gene Simmons tells fans to get vaccinated


Talking about continuing with the tour, Stanley recently said: "It’s an amazing way to raise the bar and make our fans proud. I don’t care whether it’s your hundredth KISS Concert or your first. The fact that you are there, we want to dazzle you and show gratitude."



Simmons previously added: "We’re going back out on tour. The pandemic is almost over. Stay safe, get vaccinated, come to the shows. You’ll see the finest show on the face of the planet that allows human beings to have – that’s us."



But in the new interview, he had a much more stark warning for fans who don't want to get vaccinated.
