Don't give in to the hysteria and sensationalism!

I admit it, it's getting scary out there! I never dreamed that the Lord would allow things to get this bad before the rapture, and I have to admit, He sure is cutting it close! Sometimes I feel like Pauline tied to the railroad track - she can not only hear the train whistle and see the cloud of steam in the air as the train approaches, but she's beginning to feel the heat from the engine as it draws ever closer!
As hard as it is sometimes, we must have faith that God knows what He's doing, that His timing is perfect, and that Jesus is coming for us very, very soon. As several doctrinally sound teachers have commented, everything is in place for the start of the Tribulation, so how much closer must the rapture be? It's like Hal Lindsey likes to say, "When you see all the Christmas decorations coming out in the stores, you know Thanksgiving isn't far off!"
I'm seeing articles and videos claiming that we're all going to be carted off to concentration camps if we refuse the vax. The headline on Natural News (which I asked Omegaman to not post because of the sensationalism) is "RED ALERT: Covid internment camps announced in America; Tennessee governor signs EO authorizing National Guard to carry out covid medical kidnappings!" Yes, Mike Adams who owns that site is a Christian, albeit a baby one who knows absolutely nothing about escatology (he's encouraging people to be preppers...and sells many of the supplies he says they'll need so...
), and although he's knowledgable about health and nutrition and offers a lot of good info he admittedly does tend to sensationalize at times! Same goes for a lot of people who are making videos on Rumble and Bitchute - they're often clickbait because they're selling one product or another, or they're "Christian Patriots" who are looking for President Trump to return and usher in a time of "peace and prosperity." I love President Trump, but he's not our Savior - Jesus is! (Please be careful of those Christian Patriots - many of them are NAR and believe in the false prophecies of the late Kim Clement and others.)
I talked to Charlie Garrett of The Superior Word about this, and he thinks people should be arrested for writing stories like these and causing panic! He did some research as far as Tennessee goes, and said the only major article he could find about the Executive Order Governor Lee has signed is this one:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Friday afternoon, Governor Bill Lee announced Executive Order 83, authorizing more medical staff to work in Tennessee as the state sees more hospitalizations from COVID-19.
According to the executive order, out-of-state health care providers, retired medical professionals, and practical nursing graduates may now work in Tennessee with certain provisions. In addition, there is now more flexibility in how hospitals utilize health care student staffing. National and State Guard members can also be used for emergency service operations.
Ambulance services also now have more flexibility with drivers and how their vehicles can be used.
Hospitals are allowed to increase the number of licensed beds available for COVID-19 patients on a temporary basis, in addition to nursing homes.
COVID-19 testing was also expanded with the executive order, allowing more medical laboratory facilities to offer testing. Medical laboratory personnel are also allowed to work remotely under the order.
The order did not call for any changes when it comes to wearing masks in Tennessee, however, it did encourage eligible Tennesseans to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
“COVID-19 vaccines are widely available and effective, and widespread vaccination is the best tool to combat COVID-19 and ensure social, economic, and educational stability, and all eligible persons are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19,” Executive Order 83 stated.

This post I came across while doing some research on the story myself explains it in a nutshell: "Gov Lee has NOT been tyrannical through this. He signed an order to remove all vax venues from schools and to stop coercing kids to get vaccinated. He never forced masks, left it up to local counties. There is a shortage of TN healthcare workers (probably because they refuse to be vaccinated by their corporate-owned hospitals and are just quitting). Sounds like he is just making it easier for out-of-state workers to work in TN. Gov Lee is one of the better, freer governors. I'm on the side of freedom here...no mandates, personal responsibility. I'm seeing more people in my neighborhood getting covid now than before and guess what? They're all vaccinated. I'm not concerned about being told over the phone I'm crazy and need to go to a detention center cuz I refuse the vaccine."
If there's any concern at all I would imagine it should be in the blue states, but Cuomo is gone, hopefully Newsom soon will be as well and perhaps more will follow as people wake up. Frankly, I think this is largely a distraction to get people's eyes off the stolen election results - get them all worked up over something else, something that hits close to home.
We have to trust God - none of this has taken Him by surprise. It's clear the rapture is extremely close at hand, so until that trumpet sounds we need to occupy until He comes and be about our Father's business. Giving in to hysteria and sensationalism isn't going to help anyone; prayer and sharing the Gospel while we still can will not only do a world of good, but we'll be rewarded in heaven for doing those things.
Soon all hell is going to break loose upon the Earth, and once the rapture hits, I suspect people will be clamoring to get into camps in the hopes they'll be kept safe from whatever made millions of people disappear! (They'll probably say it was aliens, given all the UFO stories in the news.)
Our regular posters are sound in their theology, but I'm asking that they refrain from posting sensationalist articles and videos.
