For those who don't know me - grew up Southern Baptist, saved at age 9 (for real and totally completely saved - no need for do-overs) became charismatic at age 18. Still charismatic in beliefs but have recently re-evaluated a lot in light of the charismania and blatant false prophecies, lies and others New Age creepiness that has infected current charismatics. So I'm back in a Baptist church for now until I can find a charismatic church that is solidly biblical - and I mean solid.
I studied eschatology for 4 yrs and am firmly, 100% pretrib. I am also 100% pro-Israel. I also hold several degrees from seminary one of which is theology and love to study Hebrew and Greek with fellow scholars. In my spare time I love to compare systematic theologies and may one day write my own.
Happily single, with one cat Creamer - and love to bass fish for a hobby.
Isa 8:20 NKJV To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Hi Javanut! Wonderful to have you here. I look forward to getting to know you better. ;D
There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all argument, and which cannot fail to keep man in everlasting ignorance. That principle is condemnation before investigation. ~ Edmund Spenser

Hi Java! I too grew up baptist...and now i'm assembly of God. I love the doctrine of the general assembly...but we have to be careful, because a lot of AG churches don't preach what is in line with the doctrinal statement of faith of the general assembly.
Philippians 3:20-21 “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”
